After breakfast i went straight to class.
Entering my class the person i saw made my brain stopped working and my legs went back to the door as of i was glitching.
I checked the sign on the wall to see if it's my class written there or "welcome to today's embarrassment".
"Nope. Universe, you're joking ",i muttered.
Everyone was staring at me like why is this girl revising like a car adding more spice to my embarrassment.
I rushed to sit down in the only vacant seat seat my eyes could see, only to turn my head to see that he was the one next to me.
He didn't even stare at me,no side glance,no annoyed sigh not even a eyebrow twitch.
He just sat down straight shaking his pen jaw tight pretending like i was oxygen. Not worth acknowledging. Invisible.
Which made it worst because the silent between us was very very loud.
I just sat down there stiff, why he kept that unreadable,cold,"you don't exist" exist energy like he mastered it since birth.
And somehow that stung more than if he yelled.

The teacher finally walked in slapping a stack of papers like it was supposed to be a wrestling Hall instead of lecture.
"Ok class,settle down. We are starting with a partner assignment ".
My stomach dropped.
Ofcourse this would happen today

The universe really said " let's spice it up ".
I kept my eyes manifested to the desk praying and wishing the teacher would just skip my row.
But nah.
Fate doesn't like peace.
"You two are the back",she said pointing at me and the boy. " You'll be partners ".
I felt him shift beside me, just a tiny movement like he was angry and was trying to hid it.

Perfect
Being paired with the boy i soaked with water this morning - same guy who pretended like i was a ghost.
Hmmm"this is gonna be fun" i muttered under my breath.

Students kept staring at him, gossiping and sneaking glances.
Why is everyone staring at him like his some celebrity ..or a villain. though he really is a celebrity.
"I heard he wasn't really demoted something crazy happened last term ",a whispered to her seatmate.
The teacher walked to the back like a sheath inspector.
"Is there any thing wrong between you too?",she asked

After ignoring me for almost the whole lesson he finally said something,the least i was expecting.
"..... You still owe me for the whole water incident", he said
Bro.. WHAT,i said inside me i flustered rolling my eyes.
Teacher left ending the class with
"I hope you both cooperate and work together"she said as she walked out.
He smirked while i smiled softly wondering what was going to happen next.
He leans slightly close to me and smirk, whispering something loud enough for only me to hear.
"Don't think this water thing is over...".
I gave him a slight look as i picked up my bag arranged my books and left the class.
" Yeah... today is off to a great start",i muttered.
