In the dark room covered with black paint, the room was the same as the Hokage office but much darker and had a gorey vibe to it.

The man sitting of the chair was non other than Danzo Shimura.
"Why are here Orochimaru. Do you need more funds?" his grim voice devoid of any humor only seriousness.
"Oh don't worry about the funds right now."
Orochimaru came out of the Shadows and walked towards the table.
"Then why are you here?"
"Can't I check up on you?"
Danzo narrowed his eyes, and looked Orochimaru in the face.
"That's unlike you, did you find something concerning?"
To Danzo Orochimaru was just a Scientist who works for him and can't be trusted in the long run.
"What did you do to my student?" not caring about anything else Orochimaru asked directly.
"I was trying to place a cursed mark on him nothing else." Danzo didn't hide anything and said spoke.
"Really now the cursed mark was not hidden as it usually is, and didn't seemed to have any effect." Orochimaru spoke calming while moving around the room.
"Must have failed, I am still learning it." Danzo said.
"No, you placed the mark in such a way that it would not land or stay stable neither did you try to replace it." he narrow his yellow snake-like eyes.
"What are you implying Orochimaru?"
Danzo's voice was even more grim now his face darkening a bit.
"To messed with his memories, trying to put a mark to act as cover while make it so that if I ever discover, I would think it was a 'failed cursed mark'." Orochimaru's voice dripped like venom.
Danzo didn't say anything and stayed silent.
"I wonder why did you mess with his memories, just what did he do to make you want to do that.... Did he saw something he shouldn't have or something even I am not aware of..."
Orochimaru was digging up every thing one by one when Danzo said.
"What you must be aware of, you already are there is nothing you need to know more, you progress has been slow and costly and I am not seeing any results."
Danzo changed the subject.
"I see, Don't take my thoughts for offensively they are in fact just a 'theory' as for results I can show you them soon."
"You better do."
Orochimaru turned around but then Danzo said.
"You seemed quit attached to you new student that's quite unlike you."
Orochimaru stopped in his tracks and without looking back said.
"He reminds me of Ryo" his voice dropped like a stone in a calm pond.
Though Orochimaru didn't look back but he knew Danzo's reaction was like.

Danzo's hate for Ryo is Just so Big the humiliation in the past made his blood boil like water.
In Danzo's voice chaos was erupting Ryo's words were ringing in his ears.

As Danzo's worlds were going rabid, Orochimaru quick left.

'Why did I act rashly?'

'If it me I would have used his thing to my advantage and force Danzo into some kind of deal. "

Orochimaru stopped in his tracks and pulled out a Kunai, though it looked different and had the Senju emblem carved on it.
"Nawaki...", Orochimaru's voice was barely a whisper.
