Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: I Am 'Kim Ji-Su'? And My Husband...

It was 5:35 AM, and the master bedroom of Seoul's most expensive penthouse was silent, broken only by the whispers of the two little Baby Boy and the fast pounding of Yu-Jin's (now Kim Ji-Su's) heart.

Yu-Jin was completely bewildered. Her toes were sinking into the soft carpet she had never even touched in her previous life. Two small, beautiful twins stood before her. Their names?

"You two... you two are Ha-Joon and Ju-Won, right?" Yu-Jin asked, her voice almost trembling.

"Yes, Mom!" the first Baby Boy, Lee Ha-Joon (Ha-Joon), replied, "Did you forget? You always have a bad headache at night."

"Mom, today is our Spring Pickling Day! Won't you take us to the garden?" the second Baby Boy, Lee Ju-Won (Ju-Won), asked innocently.

Yu-Jin remembered. In the novel, 'Kim Ji-Su' always made excuses about hangovers and headaches, depriving these lovely children of every small joy.

"No... not anymore!" Yu-Jin said to herself, taking a deep breath. "Yes, I will definitely take you! But first..."

She had to find out what was going on in the novel, and most importantly, where her Rich Man Have A Husband was!

Just then, a light knock came at the door, and an older woman entered. It was the same one mentioned in the novel—Mrs. Choi.

Mrs. Choi (Housekeeper) had her usual poker face. She saw Yu-Jin, and a fleeting look of surprise crossed her face, which instantly vanished.

"Good morning, Madam. I am surprised you woke up so early. Your headache..."

Yu-Jin cut her off mid-sentence, "Mrs. Choi! I don't have a headache anymore. I am ashamed of my past habits. I have changed. Can you tell me... where is my husband, Lee Yun-Woo?"

Mrs. Choi's eyes widened for a second, as if she couldn't believe her ears. "Sir... he is in the breakfast room downstairs. He is leaving for his morning meeting. He waited for you, as always, today too."

Yu-Jin's heart skipped a beat. He is waiting for me!

She immediately told Mrs. Choi, "Please bring me clothes quickly... yes, quickly—to shower and get ready. The most simple and best ones!"

After Mrs. Choi left, Yu-Jin opened the closet. It wasn't a closet; it was a room! Filled with expensive designer clothes. Kim Ji-Su must have spent all her money on these.

She quickly chose a simple, but classy white shirt and black trousers. When she looked at herself in the mirror, she was truly amazed. She was in the incredibly beautiful body of Kim Ji-Su—tall, slender, and model-like.

First Meeting with the Husband

Yu-Jin swiftly descended the winding staircase of the penthouse. As she headed towards the dining room, her heart was pounding so hard she thought her ears would burst.

And then, she saw him.

There, at the head of a long, mahogany dining table, sat Lee Yun-Woo. He was in a perfect gray suit, his tie perfectly straight, and his hair neatly styled. A vast spread of Korean and Western breakfast was laid out before him, but he was only holding a coffee mug. His eyes... his eyes were tired, and they held a deep, familiar loneliness.

He looked exactly as Yu-Jin had read in the novel—serious, handsome, and broken inside. South Korea's Biggest Rich Man!

As Yun-Woo heard a faint rustle at the door, he put down his coffee cup and looked up.

He saw Yu-Jin—who was now his wife Kim Ji-Su—and his face remained impassive. He had expected her to wake up late, or perhaps not at all.

"Ji-Su," he said, his voice extremely controlled and calm. "You woke up so early. I thought you would have a headache." There was no sarcasm in his tone, just a statement of fact.

Yu-Jin knew what Kim Ji-Su would do at this moment. She would complain, say she returned late from the club, or demand money from him.

But Yu-Jin took a deep breath and smiled. It wasn't Kim Ji-Su's cruel smile, but Park Yu-Jin's charming, honest one.

"Good morning, Yun-Woo," she said. She slowly walked toward him, "No, I don't have a headache. In fact, I... I slept very well today."

She pulled out a chair at the table and sat right across from him, looking directly into his eyes.

"I know you must be getting late. I just came to say good morning, and to tell you that I am taking Ha-Joon and Ju-Won to the garden for pickling today. And..."

She hesitated slightly. This was completely out of Kim Ji-Su's character.

"...and I am sorry. For quite some time, I have been a very bad wife and a bad mother. I want to fix everything."
