Buer's appearance description

The Buers of Gea

Plains Buers[1] stand six to seven feet tall, built with the heavy, powerful frame of a humanoid bear. Broad shoulders and thick chests carry strong arms, dense with muscle perfect for lifting or grappling. Their legs are sturdy like tree trunks, giving them stability rather than speed, and a slight roundness at the belly adds to their bulky silhouette.

Coarse fur, usually brown, black, or dark grey, covers most of their body. Beneath, the skin is thick and leathery, resistant to cuts. Fur patterns are simple, rarely striped or patterned. Their hands are wide, claws sharp but dexterous enough to wield weapons, and their feet blend human and bear features, built for gripping uneven terrain. Even at rest, their presence is commanding—a wall of muscle that exudes calm yet warns of danger if provoked.

Their faces carry the weight of their strength: a bear-like snout slightly shortened, round ears that twitch at sound, deep-set eyes, usually brown or amber, and fangs just visible when they speak or smile.

Expressions are often serious, giving the impression that every Buer is a warrior even before the fight begins.

Highland Buers, shaped by the Blessed Highlands, are far from ordinary. The mountain gives each its own gift:

Gulbob stands 8'8", a titan of brute strength and Aura mastery, earning him the whispered title "Titan that Shadows the Mountain".

Garron (Griffin), smaller at 5'7", moves like wind incarnate, his blades igniting frost and fire, a "Tempest that Circles the Mountain".

Aegis is immovable, a rock of a man whose presence shields all, known as "The Immovable Tree that Shields the Mountain".

Where Plains Buers are strong, Highland Buers are legendary. The gifts of the mountain shape their bodies and powers, making them formidable beyond measure.

They are slow-moving or swift depending on their gift, grounded or like storms, yet all are linked to the peaks they protect. Around them, the Pillars of the Mountain—guards and lookouts—hold the cliffs, forming the foundation upon which these legends stand.

Every Highland Buer is a combination of nature, magic, and mountain-born destiny: muscle, aura, and purpose intertwined. Their forms are awe-inspiring, their presence a warning and a promise.
