Chapter 73 - Ch 73: A God’s End

The battle had just begun, but already, the odds had shifted.

Aegis stood on Gaia's broken form, his foot pressing down hard into the shattered stone, unyielding, as if the earth itself could not break him. His trident glinted ominously in the pale light, the blade shimmering with power that even the Gods would fear.

Gaia's enormous body lay crumpled, bloodied with cracks running across his stone skin like a fallen titan of legend.

The massive God groaned beneath Aegis's weight, gasping in futile defiance.

"You... you bastard," Gaia hissed through clenched teeth, unable to push Aegis off. "You can't... you can't just—"

Crack!

Aegis, without a shred of hesitation, slammed his foot into Gaia's torso, shattering his ribs and sending shockwaves of agony through the Giant God's body.

"This is the price for betraying me," Aegis said calmly, his voice like ice cutting through the battlefield.
