Chapter 31 - ANNOUNCEMENT #6: A TRIBUTE TO

Hello everyone, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for your support of When Rome Stood Firm.

To be honest, there have been moments lately when I felt burnt out and lost the motivation to continue this story. Writing this journey is a long and often exhausting road. However, the support from a few of you, support that I can truly count on one hand, is what kept me going. Those small but consistent gestures are what remind me why I started this in the first place.

Today, I want to dedicate this tribute to: Punisher_720

This reader has not only been the top contributor of Powerstones for a while now, but Punisher_720 has also consistently taken the time to leave comments, including one where this reader simply wrote "thank you" for the chapter. Sometimes, all it takes is one person showing that kind of steady appreciation to pull a writer out of a slump and give them the strength to push the story forward.

As a token of my appreciation, I am giving a unique opportunity to Punisher_720. You get to name a key character who will be introduced in the upcoming chapters.

This is not just a background extra. He is a Barbarian warrior, one of the barbarians who has sworn an oath of fealty to Romulus. He will play a crucial role in the upcoming plot. He is a figure whose actions will significantly impact the fate of Romulus and the empire.

For your information, I have already completed 5 new chapters. However, I have decided that I will not post these 5 chapters until Punisher_720 provides a chosen name, as this character will appear very soon in the narrative.

NAMING GUIDELINES (BARBARIAN CHARACTER):

To ensure this character fits the dark historical atmosphere of the Germanic tribes such as the Heruli, Rugii, or Sciri, please follow these guidelines:

1. Ancient Germanic Vibe: Choose a name that sounds strong, gritty, and harsh. Examples of this style are Gisulf, Torsten, Hrodic, Alaric, Widimir, or Fritigern.

2. Tough Meanings: Barbarian names often involve elements like "Wolf", "Sword", "Spear", or "Bear".

3. No Latin Names: Please avoid Roman-sounding names like Marcus or Lucius, as he is a warrior proud of his roots outside the walls of Rome.

4. Originality: If you have an original idea that sounds ancient and fitting, feel free to suggest it.

To Punisher_720, please leave your chosen name in the comments of this chapter. I will be honored to etch your choice into the history of this world.

Thank you to those few of you who have stayed by my side. You are the reason this story stays alive!
