The goblin for a split second regains some semblance, dodging the arrow and it burrows a hole through a tree. That moment the goblin dodged, it looked away from the EVO in front and a long spear is right in it's face taking the top part of it's head clean off.
The long spear keeps going with still 2 goblins left that are rushing towards them. One of them targets bruiser and before it can pounce, "Return" he says with the spear coming back to him at high speed. The goblin pounces with it's dagger.
Bruiser without a weapon shows fear which monsters enjoy and feed off before smiling and putting his hand out and the goblin trying to target it.
Whok....Squelch
Goblin falls short and drops the ground looking up at bruiser groaning and whimpering. Bruiser stands tall with the spear in his hand driving it through the goblin's head finishing it off.
"Coming towards you" says Bruiser as it went past him and rushed towards Sophie with a predatory look like it's most appetizing thing there.
Slobbering and drooling everywhere, Myst steps up with his cloak and empowering his staff as it glows blue using his ability "Slice". Waves of dagger cuts rush towards the goblin tartaring it splendidly.
"Ew" she says as she looks around at the decimated corpses. "Well done all, let's keep moving" says Louis as they keep doing the same thing and annihilating any goblins in their path.
As they kept killing and killing, it reaches nightfall and they setup camp.
"Done it" "Now they won't be able to find us" says Louis as he spread goblin corpses and blood around to mask their location. Myst prepares dinner for everyone and they sit around having a lovely night.
Sophie sits alone with a fire lit sitting on a chair looking up at the starry night sky blissfully enjoying the atmosphere and it gets interrupted by bruiser's heavy presence and breathing.
She gives him a look to go away, but he looks absolutely clueless asking her.
"How are you holding up so far?". She looks away and down at the ground replying "I'm not sure" "I came here determined to change myself and yet i feel..."
"Useless?" he says finishing her sentence. She looks up at him for a moment and back down again shocked in that instance, but the realization that he knows and hasn't said anything makes her feel hurt.
"Who cares?" he says in a passive aggressive tone and calming himself down to say "None of this matters" "The only thing you should be focused on is getting back home to your family safe and sound".
"You shouldn't risk your life for anything less" he ends it with that after walking away. She didn't say anything or hear him approaching, "Ignore him" says Louis.
"JESUS" she shout whispers. "Huh" he says while looking confused. He gets closer saying "The last healer had the same attitude you had and eventually did something stupid and lost his life".
"He just doesn't want to lose anyone anymore" "He wouldn't be here right now if it wasn't for his family" "The only reason he fights" as he shows her a picture of them together smiling with joy.
"Rest up kiddo" "Your time to shine will come" as he leaves going to his tent.
Days go by as they keep doing the same rinse and repeat tactic of lessening the number of goblins before going to the goblin settlement.
Every night after fighting all day, they unwind and relax enjoying their spiritful adventure with laughs and cheers as they drink moderately.
"Myst" "I've got to ask, is that the only skill you have?" She asks while mimicking his attack.
"Slice Slice Slice" she says mocking him.
"You forgot the rule already.." says Louis looking at her sternly.
"Sorry" she says sitting back down and Bruiser trying to lift up everyone's spirits. Myst didn't answer and only watched them with his blankness expression, trying to keep his emotions in check.
The next day, after finishing off a goblin forward team. They feel more lethargic as bruiser drops to one knee after finishing them off.
"Wow I'm knackered" he says breathing heavily. "Yeah" says Louis while also sitting down on a tree branch also looking fatigued.
"Here" says Myst as he tosses him a elixir and hands one to bruiser.
"Want one?" asks Myst to Sophie and she shakes her head. "MORE COMING" shouts Louis as he is drinking the elixir.
Before the goblins even arrive a system notification pops up.

Louis looks at the message, befuddled as to what is going on he tries to stand up and loses his footing.
Snap!, Crack!, Crik!, Snick!
Multiple bones break from the fall as he cries out in agony.
"AGHHHHHHHHHHHH"
Sophie rushes towards him to heal him as the goblins rush at Bruiser. 'Sanāri' she says as a light forms healing his wounds. Bruiser looks at them and thinks to himself "I am the last line" remembering his family and those lost. He looks behind him once more to look for Myst, but he cannot see him.
"COME AT ME" he shouts at the goblins as he put his shield up.
The first goblin rushes forward thrusting it's blade into the shield and bouncing off. 2 more appear from behind it both of them cutting bruiser causing minor wounds, but the last goblin launches into the air thrusting it's dagger into his right shoulder.
"Mmmnh" moans the goblin looking into bruiser's eyes. Before biting him on his neck and getting out.
The other goblins continue their onslaught slashing away at him. "NOOOOO" shouts Sophie as she finishes healing and rushing over Bruiser.
"Not again" she thinks as she runs towards him. It feels like time is slowing down, she feels every step she takes but the distance between them isn't getting closer.
"Whack!" she gets hit on the back of the neck by Myst and falls to the ground.
"This took way to long.." says Myst as the elixir took a long time to work. "Just resisting the constant urge to cut you down was so overwhelming" he exaggerates.
'Stratus' he moves like fog to every goblin cutting them down easily before standing in front of a half dead Bruiser. "You're just unfortunate" he says to his face with a despicable smile on his face.
Sophie resisting the urge to go unconscious and keeping herself awake sees glimpses of it, hearing what he is saying. The dark clouds emerge and soon after rainfall follows.
"Is this i..." she starts to say, but goes unconscious.
