Chapter 117 - Chapter 117: Svarog, Just You Wait

After that, the story continues to move forward.

Seele and Bronya finish their conversation, and after exchanging a few words with Clara, the two sides part ways.

Before heading back to find Natasha to turn in the supplies, Nero says he still has something to do, so he brings out the Frostspawn...

"Ha... The main streamer already guessed this would happen."

[I Use Pantene: You all know what I'm about to say. As expected of you, Little Fish, catch the small one, then catch the big one. You're really about to build a business empire now, huh?]

[Pom-Pom: I hereby declare that Little Fish is the person who can stick to their original intentions the most!]

[Meat-Eating King: Rift creatures: I really don't want to say more, but kids, you know this isn't funny.]

In the end, the Frostspawn is taken away by Sampo, while everyone else goes to find Natasha.

After arriving at the clinic, they run into Dan Heng and March. In the game screen, you can also see three unlucky guys lying on the ground.

When Siberian Duck controls the character to interact with the three unlucky guys on the ground, a close-up appears, showing that all three of their faces look like they've been run over by a train.

Right after that, a line of text appears below.

[Thank Pompom. The conductor didn't give Nero truly terrifying lethal mines, but instead prepared a special train-custom version.]

So the players put their hands together and silently chant in their hearts, "Thank you, Pompom!"

Next comes Nero's moment to claim credit.

"Credit-claiming Little Fish is kind of cute! Feels like a completely different person compared to when he was beating up the Frostspawn, but still kind of cute." Siberian Duck shows a doting, auntie-like smile.

[Dan-heart Eternal: Teacher Dan Heng has been silenced.]

[Mr. Yang's Cane: Dan Heng: I originally wanted to scold him in a serious tone, but now... I can't say anything at all.]

"I feel like I finally understand how Sampo feels when he's facing Little Fish." Siberian Duck says while looking at Dan Heng, who wants to speak but stops himself.

Next is the whispered conversation segment between Stelle, Dan Heng, and March. The three start discussing how to strengthen Nero's awareness of guarding against Sampo.

"Goose goose goose! Old Sampo is way too miserable. He's obviously the one who got messed with, but now he's still being blamed."

[Aha's Messenger: Sampo: Damn it, what kind of bewitching soup did he pour into those three?]

[I Got Bitten by an Ant: Everyone's filter for Little Fish is way too thick!]

[Dan-heart Eternal: What do you mean? Little Fish is naturally innocent, lively, kind, cute, a bit silly, decisive, smart, and amazing, okay?]

[Little Fish's Sword: Exactly! Little Fish was just telling the truth, he didn't deliberately mess with Sampo. Can coincidences really be blamed on Little Fish?]

[My Pee Is Yellow: I think it'd be better to let me taste the popsicle.]

[I Use Pantene: You know what I'm going to say, Brother Yellow Pee.]

[In the Game]

After wrapping up everything at Natasha's clinic, everyone prepares to set off again.

Oleg is getting ready to go look for Svarog.

After leaving the clinic, Seele notices that Bronya doesn't look very energetic and teases her, "What, already sleepy?"

"Aren't you tired? You didn't rest all night." Bronya's face looks a bit worn out.

"My personal record is six days without sleep. You still need to work harder!" Seele shrugs, then looks over at Stelle and Nero and adds, "And look, aren't those two outsiders still full of energy?"

Hearing that, Bronya looks over and finds that the four outsiders really do look lively and energetic.

She can understand why the reliable man named Dan Heng and the girl named March look so energetic... but... logically speaking, Stelle and that child named Nero also didn't rest all night like them. So why are they like this...

Bronya can even see a gleam in those two's eyes, that's proof of being full of energy.

Because they're not far away, the Trailblazing Squad can hear the conversation between Seele and Bronya.

Stelle gives the two of them a smile. She doesn't know how to explain it, she's always been full of energy anyway.

Nero, on the other hand, blurts out, "I'm an immortal, you know. I've long gotten used to staying up late."

'An immortal, huh...'

Seele and Bronya twitch the corners of their mouths and don't say anything.

Even though they don't really understand what the term "immortal" actually represents... neither of them plans to argue with Nero about it.

It doesn't take long before everyone finds Oleg in a corner of Boulder Town.

Seeing that everyone has arrived, Oleg smiles and says, "Hahaha, now that everyone's here, I'll get straight to the point."

"About the Stellaron you mentioned last time, and what you encountered in the Upper District, before you came back, these two young folks already helped me go over it again."

Oleg looks at Dan Heng and March and continues, "The last time I saw Cocolia, she was still a strong-willed little girl... never thought that after becoming the Guardian..."

"All I can say is that I sympathize with what you've been through. Don't worry, Wildfire won't do anything like stabbing people in the back."

"Even though your plan sounds about as reliable as a miner's drunken rambling, at least it points out a direction. The people of the Underworld have long since run out of roads to walk. At this point, I'd rather gamble on you."

"Don't worry, uncle. We'll prove you didn't trust the wrong people," March says.

"It's not just drunken rambling from miners," Dan Heng adds.

"We have experience dealing with Stellarons," Nero says.

"Before coming here, we already saved a place that was attacked by the Antimatter Legion," Stelle adds confidently.

Seeing how energetic the four young outsiders are, a bit of a smile appears on Oleg's aged face.

"Good! Then let's be realistic. You want to know where the Stellaron is, and Wildfire wants to lift the blockade of the Underworld."

"In other words, our target is the same, Svarog. If we don't deal with that big shot, everything else is just empty talk."

"We need to find a way to get him on our side," Stelle says.

Seele raises an eyebrow and crosses her arms. "Hmph. He's a robot, what could he possibly understand? Cutting that pile of scrap metal down is the fastest way."

"Clara will help us," Nero says at this moment. "While staying alert, we might as well trust her a little."

Oleg nods. "That girl is indeed very kind. But we still need to prepare for both possibilities. Resolving it peacefully would of course be best, but if things change, we must always be ready to use force."

"Wildfire has tried to contact Svarog many times. Every time, we're turned away at the door. That guy has no intention of talking to us at all."

"With our strength, forcing it would be extremely risky. Svarog's robots aren't afraid of sacrifice, but I don't want to gamble with the lives of the people in the Underworld."

"But now it's different. Your arrival made Svarog acknowledge the 'appearance of external variables.' Things have changed. I don't know the reason, but maybe you really can persuade him."

"Mm, that would be best." Dan Heng nods.

Then Oleg lets out a hearty laugh. "Hahahaha! Look at us, scheming away, dreaming so beautifully. Sigh, once you get to Svarog's turf, you'll understand. Things down underground are never that smooth."

Nero shrugs, a confident smile on his face.

"So what? The footsteps of trailblazing will never stop. If words don't work, we'll fight through it. If fighting doesn't work, we'll talk it through!"
