Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: The Casino Heist Begins

In the deepest part of Hell's Kitchen, a massive club stood in a block.

This was a core industry of the Maggia Gang, extracting astonishing wealth for them day and night.

Even in the early hours of the morning, it was still brightly lit and bustling with people.

Outside the club's main entrance, a dozen gang members openly stood guard, the clear outlines of firearms bulging at their waists.

As Daniel approached the door, two of them reached out to stop him.

"Routine check."

"Alright."

Daniel did not resist, allowing the gang members to scan his entire body with a metal detector.

Anyway, all his equipment and items were stored in his game inventory.

"No problem, go in."

Daniel nodded and stepped into the clamor of noise.

The club's interior was vast, with all kinds of entertainment areas readily available.

Daniel scanned the area and walked directly to the liveliest casino section.

Behind each gambling table stood a sexy dealer dealing cards online, with her cleavage precariously exposed, and the surrounding gamblers stared with wide eyes, not knowing if they were looking at the cards or the 'career line'.

Daniel found an empty seat and sat down, and the dealer behind the table immediately showed a professional, charming smile.

"Sir, what would you like to play?"

"Fight the Landlord."

"..."

The dealer's smile froze: "Sorry, we don't offer that game."

"What about Tilling the Land?"

"No."

"You must have Tractor, right?"

"No!"

The dealer was so annoyed her mammary glands were swelling; 'Are you deliberately causing trouble?!'

Daniel pouted: "Boring. Then I'll bet on big or small."

"Alright, sir."

Finally hearing a familiar game, the dealer immediately reverted to her business smile, picked up the dice cup, and began to shake it rapidly.

Daniel's eyes instantly widened, his gaze following the shaking female... dice cup in front of the dealer.

So bouncy, ah no, such fast hand speed!

After more than ten seconds, the dealer stopped shaking, put down the dice cup, and asked: "Sir, how many chips would you like to bet?"

"Of course, all in! Bet big!"

Daniel threw out a chip with great Domineering.

The dealer: "..."

One chip and he dares to call it 'all in'?

This chip was 'borrowed' by Daniel from another gambler. That gambling addict didn't refuse at the time, so presumably, he wouldn't mind.

Immediately after, the sexy dealer lifted the dice cup, and the three dice inside showed five, five, and six.

Sixteen points, big!

The dealer's expression remained unchanged, assuming Daniel had just gotten incredibly lucky, which wasn't uncommon in a casino.

She skillfully pushed two chips in front of Daniel.

"Congratulations, sir. Would you like to continue?"

"Of course!"

Ten minutes later.

"Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo."

Daniel hummed a cheerful tune while sipping his cappuccino.

By now, a small mountain of chips had accumulated in front of him, easily worth hundreds of thousands of U.S. dollars.

[Skill: Blessing of the God of Gamblers' Apprentice]

[Description: Your gambling skills have reached perfection; you are almost unrivaled in the casino]

[Evaluation: Back then, Chen Daozai won 25 million with 20 yuan; it's no problem for you to win 5 million with 200,000. But please remember, the money won cannot be spent; it can only be used for charity, otherwise, it will bring bad luck]

With this skill, Daniel's gambling skills were only slightly inferior to the God of Gamblers.

Unfortunately, there was a powerful debuff later; otherwise, tomorrow's rich list would likely have a different name.

"...Sir, are you... still continuing?"

The dealer's voice trembled noticeably, and cold sweat beaded on her forehead.

Winning fifty hands in a row, this could absolutely not be explained by luck alone; she had encountered a master!

"Of course!"

Daniel nodded.

The sexy dealer took a deep breath and began to shake the dice cup frantically.

To distract Daniel's attention, she even deliberately pulled her collar down a few more inches.

This shaking lasted a full five minutes, making Daniel's eyes ache, before it finally stopped.

"All in! Triplets!"

Without thinking, Daniel pushed all the chips in front of him forward.

The dealer swallowed with difficulty, her fingers trembling, as she slowly uncovered the dice cup.

Six, six, six!

Triplets!

The chips instantly multiplied by dozens of times!

The dealer, instead, showed a tragic smile of relief, silently pulled out her phone, and began to choose her favorite coffin color.

Losing tens of millions of U.S. dollars in one night, the Maggia Gang would be merciful if they didn't chop her up and feed her to the dogs.

Just then, a burly man in a black suit came to the gambling table, looking coldly at Daniel.

"Sir, please come with me."

"What? You want to renege on your debt after I've won money?"

Daniel was completely unafraid, suddenly raising his voice, instantly attracting the attention of the surrounding gamblers.

The burly man's mouth twitched.

They were a gang, true, but the venue's superficial reputation had to be maintained, otherwise, who would dare to come and play in the future?

He suppressed his emotions and whispered: "You've misunderstood. It's just that the amount at your table is too large. How about moving to a VIP room with higher stakes?"

As long as Daniel was taken away alone, he would then be at their mercy.

"No need."

Daniel waved his hand, a playful smile on his face: "If you don't want me to keep playing, that's fine. How about you pay me 100 million U.S. dollars right now, and I'll stop immediately?"

The burly man looked absurd: "You might as well go rob someone!"

Daniel feigned surprise: "How did you know I was going to rob?"

The burly man: "???"

Before he finished speaking, Daniel suddenly pulled out an exaggerated golden desert eagle, a wild grin spreading across his face.

"Everyone put your hands up!"

"This is a robbery!"

Deep inside the club, in a secluded private room.

The Russian strongman nicknamed "Hammerhead" was comfortably slumped in a sofa, his massive head particularly conspicuous, and a pair of hairy big hands were casually kneading two dealers.

"Hammerhead, how have you considered the terms I proposed?"

Sitting opposite him was a man wearing black-rimmed glasses, who slightly frowned at Hammerhead's uninhibited actions.

Hammerhead didn't even lift an eyelid, his tone full of disdain: "Wesley, tell Kingpin to come and talk to me himself."

"Kingpin is very busy, but he has fully authorized me."

"Then there's nothing to discuss!"

Hammerhead's attitude was extremely arrogant, completely disregarding Wesley and Kingpin behind him.

Wesley's eyes narrowed behind his glasses: "I heard a Devil Gang has recently emerged, ruining several of your businesses. If a partnership is reached, we'd be happy to offer assistance."

"You don't need to bother!" Hammerhead interrupted viciously, "That damn Devil Gang, I'll take care of them myself!"

"Their leader seems quite capable. Relying solely on your side, I'm afraid..."

"So what!"

Hammerhead suddenly slapped his massive head, producing a dull thud, and sneered: "Bullets can't even penetrate me! A mere Devil Gang thinks they can bring down the Maggia Gang? That's a huge joke!"

"Let me tell you! In this territory of Hell's Kitchen, no one dares to provoke the Maggia Gang!"

"And no one can afford to provoke the Maggia Gang!"

"No!!!"

Bang—!

The private room door was violently thrown open!

A subordinate rushed in frantically, shouting: "Boss! It's bad! Someone's robbing outside!"

Hammerhead: "???"
