Chapter 18 - Chapter 18 TNT

"What the f—!?"

Stane's eyes nearly popped out of his sockets as he watched the scene through the Iron Monger Armor's video system.

A frying pan actually blocked his anti-tank missile!

Who could tell him what scientific principle this was!?

Tony, as a top scientist, expressed: I also want to know!

Stane forcibly suppressed the absurd feeling churning in his heart, staring at Daniel and saying, "I recognize you. You're Tony's bodyguard."

Daniel advised, "Stane, stop this. Your daughter is still waiting for you to come home for dinner."

Stane: "?"

No, how did you know about this?

"No matter who you are, anyone who obstructs me must die!"

Stane snorted coldly, controlling the Iron Monger Armor to charge fiercely at Daniel, its massive metal fist raised high, smashing down forcefully at Daniel!

Daniel dodged the attack with a neat roll, and a crater instantly appeared where he had been standing.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Daniel pulled out his golden desert eagle and fired continuously, bullets sparking off the Iron Monger Armor.

"Hahahaha! Useless! My Iron Monger Armor is invincible!"

Stane laughed arrogantly, and the Iron Monger Armor immediately raised its arm, the Gatling gun barrels rotating again!

Da da da da da—!

A dense storm of metal instantly formed, sweeping madly towards Daniel!

Daniel immediately moved nimbly to evade, sprinting and rolling, his movements fluid and practiced!

These were all basic operations from playing soul-like games in the past; his footwork was already etched into his DNA.

After a round of sweeping fire, Stane couldn't even graze Daniel's clothes.

Even more disgusting was that Daniel kept making various taunts while dodging.

"Old lady crossing the road, old lady doing square dancing, old lady doing a step-back…"

F*** you, old lady!

Stane's blood pressure rapidly soared, his face visibly reddening.

"Stane!"

Tony naturally wouldn't just sit and watch. Seizing the opportunity, a row of miniature missiles rose from the Mark III's shoulder, instantly locking onto the target and firing!

Boom!!

A violent explosion completely engulfed the Iron Monger Armor, thick black smoke and flames rising into the sky.

But as the saying goes, where there's smoke, there's no injury.

Heavy metallic footsteps sounded, and the Iron Monger Armor stepped out of the flames unscathed, without even a noticeable dent on its surface, only traces of being blackened by the explosion.

Daniel jumped to Tony's side and whispered, "This boss's defense is a bit overpowered, much stronger than your armor."

Tony: "…"

Damn it, I'll build a bigger one when I get back!

"His shell is too thick. This isn't going to work, Tony, I have a plan!" Daniel suddenly said.

"What plan?"

"Don't ask. I'll go prepare first. You try your best to stall Stane, then lead him to this location. The rest is up to me." Daniel stated a location in the suburbs.

"Alright."

Given the circumstances, Tony could only choose to trust Daniel.

Watching Daniel turn and run away, Stane sneered, "Tony, your bodyguard seems to have abandoned you."

"Just like your wife abandoned you back then? Then found a second wife, and even made her daughter your assistant?"

When it came to sharp tongues, Tony truly wasn't afraid of many people.

"You're asking for death!"

Stane was instantly enraged, casting Daniel out of his mind and engaging Tony in battle again.

After a few rounds, Tony quickly fell into a disadvantage, being pressed to the ground and rubbed by the Iron Monger Armor, the Mark III directly becoming a battle-damaged version.

However, the anti-shock system of this Iron Armor was indeed abnormal.

Normally, even if the Iron Armor's shell was hard, the human body inside would have long turned into a pulp or suffered a severe concussion under such violent kinetic impact.

Yet, aside from being dizzy and disoriented, Tony was still full of vigor, as if the Iron Armor was his health bar, and as long as the Iron Armor was intact, he wouldn't be injured, just like the battle-damaged clothing in a certain game.

Bang!!

Tony was hammered away by the Iron Monger Armor for an unknown number of times!

He immediately activated his hand thrusters to stabilize himself, hovering in mid-air in a slightly embarrassing maiden pose.

Seeing this, Stane laughed wildly, "Not bad, improved, but I've also improved a few things myself!"

No sooner had he spoken than a dazzling burst of flames erupted from the Iron Monger Armor's feet, and its massive body actually wobbled and lifted off!

Copycat!

Tony Stark gritted his teeth in hatred, then ordered Jarvis to head towards the location Daniel had mentioned.

Stane followed closely, unwilling to be outdone, his legs spraying like a Rocket, emitting large amounts of black exhaust that caused severe environmental pollution.

The two chased each other in the air, quickly arriving at a place in the suburbs.

"Energy remaining: less than 5%."

As soon as he landed, Tony heard Jarvis's voice.

After such a long battle, the Iron Armor's energy was already running low.

"Where did that Daniel guy go? He didn't run off, did he?"

Tony felt a surge of anxiety, looking around but unable to find Daniel.

Bang!

Suddenly, Tony heard a heavy thud behind him.

As Tony turned his head, he saw the Iron Monger Armor landing behind him, then suddenly reaching out and pulling him into a tight embrace.

Stane sneered, "Tony, is this the grave you've prepared for yourself?"

As he spoke, the Iron Monger Armor's hands gradually tightened, performing a crushing embrace, and the Mark III immediately groaned under the strain.

Jarvis simultaneously reported, "Left arm severely damaged, most weapons inoperable, air conditioning system intact."

"Flares!!"

Tony roared, and the Mark III's legs instantly shot out a large burst of flames, forcing the Iron Monger Armor to release its grip, allowing him to barely break free.

"Energy remaining 2%, activating emergency backup power." Jarvis's voice sounded again.

This is bad!

Tony inwardly cursed.

As its energy ran out, the Mark III lost most of its functions, retaining only basic mobility.

At this moment, Stane also recovered. Looking at the dimly lit Mark III, he immediately understood what was happening and said mockingly, "How ironic, Tony. You said you wanted to eliminate weapons, but you ended up creating even more powerful ones."

"Now, die by the weapon you created with your own hands!"

Stane controlled the Iron Monger Armor, walking towards Tony, preparing to send his nephew to meet his deceased father.

Suddenly, a voice came from a distance.

"Hey, look here."

Stane immediately looked towards the sound source, discovering Daniel aiming an RPG Rocket launcher at him.

Stane scoffed disdainfully, "You think that thing can hurt my armor?"

"One isn't enough, so what about a hundred?"

"?"

Before Stane could think further, Daniel decisively pulled the trigger!

Whoosh—!

The Rocket, trailing exhaust, directly blasted towards Stane's feet!

Boom!!!

A violent explosion instantly ripped through the ground!

Stane felt his feet give way, and the Iron Monger Armor immediately lost balance, falling uncontrollably downwards!

Amidst the swirling dust, Stane was shocked to find himself falling into a massive underground space. The surrounding clumps of earth and rocks were very strange, being perfectly regular block shapes, and there were also obvious excavation marks.

And at the bottom of this huge pit, countless identical red and white block-shaped objects were scattered, flashing with urgent White light.

Three glaring letters were clearly printed on them:

TNT!
