Arthur:
"And thus Lord Satan was sentenced to imprisonment and restricted to his estate indefinitely until it is decided otherwise. Lady Lucifer in exchange for her endorsement of the new government and transference of most of her sovereignty over Hell was allowed to retire in peace. With that, the Devil Civil War came to a close."
I hummed in thought as I turned the memory crystal off. I had discovered the library here had plenty of these things that were paired with the books they had in inventory. Apparently, it was the supernatural version of audiobooks.
"So that explains how the DXD Satan's are in power." I muttered while leaning back into the library chair where I sat, "And I assume with Lucifer being alive and willing to work with the current government, that's why the Devil population has boomed instead of declined, unlike actual cannon."
Uriel had mentioned that the Underworld held billions in terms of population. Lucifer was the one who knew how to make Devils with Lilith. That knowledge still being around along with their reincarnation system… It's no wonder why they had so many people.
Which for me was a problem. A damn big problem.
The whole reason the three factions in DXD wanted peace was that they were all on the brink of extinction and literally couldn't afford another war. If I remembered right it was peace because of pure necessity and outside threats that were rising.
That didn't exist here. Uriel made mentioned that it was pretty much the leadership of the factions that wanted peace and it needed constant work and influence to keep it that way.
If some asshole kicked off an event they couldn't contain, it could spiral into another great war.
An event like the assassination of two of the new Satan's little sisters…
A war so large that just like last time it would envelop the Earth itself as well.
My Greek/Roman Pantheon was right in the middle of fighting the rising Titans. Right after them would come the giants and their pissed-off primordial mama. There was no way we'd be able to manage to keep them out of the Western Hemisphere after 2 consecutive wars. Or even worse, if it kicked off in the middle of our war.
The assassination attempt failed in the show. But cannon was out the window, so I couldn't rely on that.
A sigh escaped my lips. I needed to be proactive.
First things first I needed to know where the DXD timeline currently was. If they were my age then I had 4 to 5 years before it possibly became a problem. That meant I could focus on the Titans and then find a way to stop the Giants early.
Both of which I already had somewhat of a plan for.
If they were older then I'd have to keep an eye on them and help out if things get dicey.
Which means I need to meet someone from the cast and see how old they were.
"Hey, Winchester !"
Breaking myself from my thoughts I turned my head at who called out my name and found some blonde guy and various other teens standing behind me.
Someone else that knew me?
"Sup." I greeted, "Do you guys need something?"
"Oh, you know what we want Winchester" A girl next to him sneered, "Just because you changed your hair, eye color, and disappeared doesn't mean we'd forget about you."
I blinked at them in sheer confusion. Did the former Arthur do something to these guys before I got stuffed into this body?
"I don't know if you guys have heard, but I have almost complete amnesia. So whatever I may have done to you all I have no memory of." I said with a shrug, "Now if you could kindly leave, I was in the middle of looking for information."
The blonde dude who I hadn't even bothered to use observe on came up and put a hand on my shoulder.
"Oh I heard the rumor, but that's just fine even if it is true. It just means I get the satisfaction of reminding you of how things work around here. Just like old times." He said with false cheer as he attempted to squeeze my shoulder.
Keyword being "attempted". It felt like a toddler was trying to impress his dad with how big and strong he had gotten.
It clicked on me that these were probably the bullies that Uriel had mentioned the old Arthur dealt with.
"Hn, I don't have time for this," I said as I grabbed the hand on my shoulder and squeezed back.
Without much effort, I felt bone being crushed and the squelch of flesh popping from pressure.
It was silent for a beat before the screaming started.
The blonde screamed in pain as he fell back and cradled the now mangled flesh that was his hand while most of the posse that was with him stepped back and looked at me with wide eyes.
"Sorry. Sometimes I forget my own strength. I'm used to hanging around people who are a lot less weak." I said honestly.
I wasn't being that sarcastic either. I had meant to just maybe bruise or fracture the guy's hand, not pop it like a bug. Much like my height I had gotten used to Demigod's strength levels.
With Percy, I could send out a strike that could crumble a car and he'd take it without even a bruise. Annabeth, who wasn't near as durable or strong as the two of us, could probably take the head off a heavyweight fighter with a single punch at this point. Hell, even Nico had taken a strike that would have shattered a mortal's face and only came out with a slightly broken nose.
'Note to self. Learn to control my strength better.' I thought seriously. I didn't need to accidentally kill some poor human or less durable species because I misjudged my power.
"You destroyed my hand!" The blonde boy cried out with tears still pouring down his face, "You'll pay for this. Do you have any idea who I am!?"
I gave him a blank look, "Literally none. But if you touch me again I'll do more than just crush your hand next time."
As soon as the words left my mouth a moment of pause descended over me. Huh, Artemis had rubbed off on me more than I thought. That was almost something she would've said to Apollo.
"Now get the hell out of here before I decide to get violent." I said with a shooing motion, "I have research to do."
With a few more glares thrown and muttering under their breath, blondie and his group finally left me alone.
Now, where was I?
"Gwen." I greeted, "It's been a while."
"Arthur!" The Raum girl exclaimed, "Finally decided to take a visit to the underworld did we?"
"Eh." I shrugged, "More as I dropped in accidentally."
"Ah yes, that portal you dropped through with that monster." She mused while tucking a piece of her long purple hair behind her ear, "You know the rest of the school and myself is just dying to know how that happened."
"Oh, it's pretty simple." I said as I equipped my new blade and summoned it out, "My handy dandy sword opened the portal and the Oni was because I was trespassing on the Shinto's territory."
I brought up the blade to look at, but instead of admiring it or asking questions Gwen flinched at the sight of the sword and took a shuddering step back.
"You alright Gwen?" I asked.
The sword wasn't that scary looking was it?
"Y-yeah." She breathed out, "It's just that sword overwhelmed me for a second."
I furrowed my eyes in confusion, "Really?"
I knew the sword was powerful, hell I could feel the power thrumming through it since it was in my possession. But it wasn't that powerful, was it?
Gwen gave me a strange look, "You don't feel it do you? That sword is giving off incredible divine power. It… the only way to describe it is like that sense of a massive storm approaching. I'm a bit used to it since I've been to parties with some of the Satan in attendance, but I'd suggest not bringing that thing out around younger supernatural beings. Might scare the piss out of them."
Interesting. Maybe I was just desensitized from the power with all the time I've spent around literal gods and powerful Demigods?
"But enough about my sword." I shifted the topic, "What have you gathered on Samuel Colt?"
"A bit." She said as she activated a summoning circle above her hand and brought out several worn books and journals, "He was a pretty famous hunter of the supernatural. Legends say he built some sort of powerful weapon that made him unbeatable while on the hunt. These books detail his life and maybe the locations of some of his old houses and workshops."
Grabbing the stacks of books with a grin I threw them into my inventory, "Awesome."
This would accelerate my timeline of ending the Titans significantly if everything panned out. If Samuel had the leftover Colt parts, bullets, or designs stashed somewhere then that meant I could have it a lot sooner than waiting on Uriel to offer me more quests.
Which said quests weren't even guaranteed to give me said gun parts anyway.
Of course, the designs would be kinda useless without Halley's comet, but there were probably a couple of gods I could get to summon it if needed.
"You know Arthur with how powerful you are, you could probably request to be given an evil piece set. One of the Satan's, Serafall I believe, was friends with your father. I'm sure if you asked they wouldn't mind."
Serafall? Wasn't that the only female Satan of the four? Yeah sure. With Richard's track record so far I'm sure they were really good friends indeed.
"Nah I'm good." I snorted, "Not a big fan of becoming a full Devil myself when I'm plenty powerful as a Demigod. Besides, I don't need to enslave people to have them fight beside me."
Gwen raised an eyebrow, "You know from all I've gathered, you don't seem to be too fond of Devils. Weird considering you're at least some part Devil because of your father."
"I try not to be prejudiced." I said honestly, "But as a Demigod and part Human it's my job to defend Olympus and Humanity. And for the most part, I've not been impressed with how most of the supernatural treat the latter. My first memory is of a Devil slaughtering an entire airport of humans just to get to my father. I've hunted down Vampires and Werewolves using humanity as food and breeding stock. My next encounter with a Devil was one who was beating a little girl he stole in broad daylight."
A frown had made its way to her face during my explanation, but I really didn't care. She was just my information dealer for shit I needed. She wasn't a friend like Percy or Annabeth.
"You can't judge multiple species of beings for the actions of a few Arthur." She responded.
"Of course not. If I did then we wouldn't be having a civil conversation as we are right now." I said, "But enough of that. I got some research to do and a workshop to go to."
Stepping through my portal left me with the sight of an average midwestern town. I'd come through down a small alley on what must've been its main street. Looking out of the alley I saw a town hall and a smattering of different buildings and businesses lined the road.
All in all, it reminded me of every TV show that featured a "Smallville" kind of setting.
"Now where would the town library be?" I muttered.
Stepping out onto the sidewalk I saw one of the businesses was a diner. It probably wouldn't tell me what I wanted to know, but someone in there probably could point me in the direction of the library.
I made my way over and walked in during what seemed to be a lunch rush. Waitresses were bringing out food and running orders to the cooks in the back. The tables and booths were all packed to the brim with teenagers and young adults.
Huh, must've been a popular hangout for the young crowd.
Making my way over to the counter I waved down a waitress and a short redhead with a notepad and uniform came around to take my order.
"Well hello there! I don't think I recognize you, stranger. You new to town or just passing through?" She asked with a megawatt smile.
"The latter." I replied with a smile of my own, "Just stopping in to get a cup of coffee and directions to this town's library."
"Oh well, that's easy. Just take a right when you walk out the door and continue down about a mile. You should see it pretty easily." She instructed, "Though I gotta ask, what do you want with the library of a little ole town like this?"
"Oh, just some genealogy research. I have an ancestor who had a home around here that I'm trying to find." I lied.
I was a bit young to just be traveling about on my own looking for clues about Samuel Colt. But it would probably be a bit more acceptable if I just lied and said he was an ancestor.
"Really? You got a name? Me or one of my grandparents might have known them."
I almost raised an eyebrow at her saying she might have known them considering I told her this was a genealogy project, but I let it go. She had probably just misspoke or meant currently living family members.
"I doubt that sweetheart. My great-grandpa Samuel Colt was probably a bit before even your grandparent's time." I chuckled.
She laughed as well, but there was something slightly off about it.
My eyes narrowed behind my sunglasses and I focused my incredible vision on her.
Slight signs of sudden perspiration and her veins around her temples and under her jaw were suddenly beating faster.
She was suddenly either slightly nervous or agitated. Maybe both.
Interesting.
My interest had finally peaked enough, so I decided to hit her with an observe. The info screen popped up and I frowned at what it told me.
A Werewolf.
"I'm afraid you're right about that. Never heard of that family name around here. Now, what kind of coffee did you want?" She asked.
"Dark roast with some cream and instead of sugar could I get some honey in it instead?" I asked.
"Sure thing. I'll have it right up." She said as she moved to go back towards the kitchen.
I hummed at what I had just learned and decided to activate my aura vision to scan the rest of the place. Because where there was one Werewolf, there was always more.
Looking around I almost had a heart attack.
Every person in here was a Werewolf or Vampire.
Well, that's… interesting.
An internal debate on whether or not I should pull out Tsurugi and just atomize this place with a Kirin raged within my mind until my waitresses came back with my coffee in a to-go cup.
"Have a nice day sir and good luck with your project!"
I almost blushed at how sincere and bubbly she sounded and my hand lowered from where I was about to summon Tsurugi out.
These bastards didn't know how lucky they were that the cute redheaded Werewolf had just saved them from getting burnt to a crisp.
I tried to ignore how Zeus like that sentence probably sounded.
Maybe this was one of those peaceful havens Uriel mentioned existed out west. If so then I suppose I'd just leave them alone and be on my way.
"Should be about right here."
Putting my map down a slightly run-down, but otherwise completely intact log cabin greeted me. Which was honestly kinda impressive. This thing must've easily been over 100 years old.
I found that the door handle and lock were rusted shut when I tried to turn them to get in. With a bit of my enhanced strength, I just put enough force onto it to shatter the wood and metal.
Walking in I noticed that there wasn't much in here except some broken down furniture and a dry-rotted rug.
"No way a hunter like Colt wouldn't have a stash or safe hidden somewhere." I muttered as I looked around.
My magic sight flickered on and I found what I was looking for. Right under a floorboard, there were thin bits of magic flowing out from the cracks.
Crouching down my fist plunged towards it shattered the board. Sweeping away the debris I found an old safe decorated with various markings staring back at me.
Jackpot.
"Now come to papa little guy."
I reached out for it, only to jerk my hand back as I touched it. A painful jolt of heat raced up my hand when I touched it.
Warded for protection?
I focused on the markings themselves and used observe.
Anti-Demonic Runes
Anti-Spirit Runes
Anti-Angel Runes
I let out a low whistle. Ole Colt was a paranoid bastard, but that's probably what made him the best.
Though one of those runes was keeping me out. My guess was the Demonic one, but depending on who Richard's parents were, it could have been the Angel one as well.
Taking out Tsurugi I activated the elemental channeling ability and let light flow through it. With that, I carefully began pressing it lightly into the edges of the safe and began cutting.
It was an extremely slow process, but eventually, I cut through the last bits of metal and the safe's face was fully disconnected.
With a gust of air, I threw the front away and looked inside at the contents.
"Oh my…"
Inside were three individual gun parts stored right by two bullets and a stack of diagrams.
All the parts I needed were right here.
Off to the side was also a note. Quickly scooping the parts, papers, and bullets into my inventory I grabbed the note and opened it up.
To Whom It May Concern,
If you're a Devil, Angel, Undead, or any sort of mythological being: Go fuck yourself with a red hot railroad spike. I hope if by the time you find this and are reading this, that the wards I put on my safe were still powerful enough to blow your cock off. If not, then please refer to my earlier reference to the railroad spike.
If by chance you are a Hunter or Human, well then congratulations. You just found parts to the ultimate monster-slaying weapon. Forged by yours truly. And yes yes, I realize it's missing the other parts. I got into a particularly rough fight with some prick who called himself the god of war after I fucked his girl. The gun was smashed into pieces during said fight.
But fret not, I left schematics for the damned thing and bullets in here as well. It will be nigh impossible to do, but with the right circumstances, you can make her brand new again.
All I ask is that should you rebuild my Colt and should you follow the path of the Hunter is to do me one favor.
Raise some hell in my name.
P.S: Also if you ever meet a Fallen named Azazel, shoot him in the fucking face for me.
Samuel Colt
I let out a chuckle as I read it over. I felt like I would have liked this guy.
Walking out of the cabin I opened up my inventory and crafting menu. To my delight, there was now a recipe option to reassemble the Colt now that all of its parts were in my inventory sitting together.
Use all parts collected to reassemble the Colt (6/6)? (Y/N)
Barrel
Cylinder
Handle
Trigger
Hammer
Bullets (2/6)
With a gleeful expression, I hit yes and my build queue popped up.
Build Time: 1:00:00
One hour and I'd have a gun that could kill probably every being in existence. I was limited to 2 shots right now, but that was all I needed.
After all for Luke and Kronos, they were a bargain deal right now if they had already merged into the same body. Now all I had to do was find them.
From the tree line to my left, I heard masses of leaves gently rustle and branches snap. Normally I'd have just dismissed it as forest animals, but knowing what town I had stepped into earlier I reactivated my mage sight again.
Sure enough, vaguely half-wolf beings were running around the forest around me.
Flicking my sight off I looked upon the forest I had trekked to reach Colt's Cabin and let out a sigh. It was afternoon by this point and I had been hoping just to be able to take a little stroll through these nice-looking woods.
Guess not.
Deciding to not beat around the bush I shouted in their direction, "Hey Werefucks, I see your asses stalking me over there. Either fuck off or come put to talk. Because if you do neither I'm burning the forest down with y'all in it."
The rustling stopped for a few moments. I assumed they were conversing among themselves on what to do.
Eventually, they came forward, and at the front of the pack was a crimson red werewolf with familiar eyes.
"Why hello there Ma'am." I greeted, "I gotta say, I should have left you a larger tip for the coffee. It was pretty damn good."
Green eyes narrowed with a huff and her form began shrinking down into that of a human.
I let out an appreciative whistle once her de-transformation ended. It would seem Werewolves didn't somehow keep their clothing once they turned back into humans. Contrary to what some more PG-rated shows said on the matter.
"The carpet does indeed match the drapes it would seem."
"Pervert." She shot back with no real heat.
I shrugged, "Hey, you're the one who's exposing yourself to a minor right now."
She let out a snort, "You're 17, maybe 19? You're telling me someone as good-looking as you haven't had a girl show you her tits yet?"
"13 actually and not quite." I corrected.
The redhead blinked in confusion as she looked me up and down, "Bullshit. You're damn near 6 feet and I can see an almost 5 o'clock shadow from here."
She wasn't wrong. My facial hair had kicked in a couple of months ago. I kept myself clean-shaven, but I swear it was starting to grow faster every day.
"I'm a Demigod. We develop a bit faster than normal."
Her muscles tensed at that and the still transformed wolf's behind her shifted uncomfortably.
I couldn't blame them. If I was a monster and heard someone say they were a famous hunter's grandson and a Demigod then I'd be worried as well.
She swallowed nervously, "Which one?"
"Artemis."
Her eyes grew wide.
"Shit."
"Ah don't look so worried, beautiful. In fact, it's your lucky day. I'm not here for any of you or the bloodsuckers back in town. I really was just around to grab something out of this cabin."
Summoning Tsurugi to my hand I slashed it through the air and carved a portal next to me.
Throwing the sword back into my inventory I glanced at her name and met her eyes.
"But be warned, Sarah. If I ever hear about any innocent human, especially women or children, disappearing or ending up dead anywhere near this place, I'll come back. And I'll raze this entire town to the ground. So spread the word."
Stepping through the portal I decided to make a few more stops.
Stepping into Sally Jackson's apartment I had expected to see a bit of difference in the interior design compared to when I was last here. If only because I had dumped several million dollars onto the table.
Instead, the same couches and tables were still in their positions unmoved.
So Sally was actually smart with her money. Noted.
Looking around to see if anyone was home, I was only greeted by the sight of Christmas decorations and the smell of recently baked cookies.
It was the weekend so both Percy and Sally should have been here. Maybe they'd gone out for food or to do some last-minute Christmas shopping?
Well, whatever. I'd just chill on the couch and
eat some cookies until they came back. It would give The Colt time to finish as well.
So that's what I did. For the next hour or so I munched on some backed sweets and burned Colt's diagrams into my memory.
Eventually, I heard the door
jingle as a set of keys was pushed into the lock and the front door swung open with Percy walking in and locking eyes with me.
"Well hello, there friend." I waived happily from my seat.
Percy
continued to stare at me like it was the biggest shock in the world that I was here right now before his eyes narrowed and he stalked towards me.
Huh, I felt like I was about to be punted through a wall.
"What?" I asked innocently.
"Where. The Hades. Have. You. Been?!" Percy growled.
I blinked in confusion, "Uhhh, around?"
Percy's eyes narrowed, "I haven't seen you in person in months and the first thing I hear about in from Annabeth frantically calling me is that you took a newbie Demigod on a suicide mission to Japan."
I was momentarily taken aback by Percy's concern, but then I remembered his fatal flaw. The guy was loyal until the end towards his friends and loved ones. Me dispersing into a foreign land with no contact probably gave him a heart attack.
I held up my hands in surrender, "Alright next time I'll bring you along."
Percy rolled his eyes, "That doesn't answer why you brought a new camper along with you as well."
Well, time to rip this bandaid off.
"He's the Son of Hades."
Percy nearly choked on his own spit at that information, "What!?"
"Yeah, figured it out from his aura." I said, "When I was about to leave he asked to come with me so that I could train him."
"You still took an untrained kid into another pantheon's territory." Percy snorted.
"Oh please. He's barely two years younger than us and we've been all over the country already. Besides from what I've seen he'll definitely be a powerhouse. Once he really starts hitting his accelerated puberty his power will also shoot up. We'll need him for what I've got planned."
"Oh? And what do you have planned, Sparky."
"I'm giving my brother the family sword tomorrow. After that, we're going hunting."
"Oh?" Percy asked, "And what are we hunting that will need 2 Big Three Demigods and you to kill?"
I smirked, "Kronos."
Percy shot me a look that was questioning my sanity, "I assume you have a plan to back up that suicidal statement?"
Pulling out the weapon that had just been completed in the last hour while I was waiting for Percy I brought it up for him to look at.
Percy gained a dumbfounded look on his face, "An old gun?"
"This Percy is The Colt. The most powerful weapon in the universe. One-shot can kill any being in existence."
Percy went to say something, but I interrupted him before he could start.
"And when I say kill, I mean it, Percy. This thing can even kill gods. Permanently. They don't get to chill in Tartarus and reform. They stay gone."
"Holy shit." Percy muttered.
"Holy shit indeed."
There was a silence that stretched until I felt the information had settled long enough.
I wasn't planning to go after Kronos immediately. No first I needed to do some training. Heavy training at that. It would probably take a couple of months, but if I had Nico and Percy with me and also training then we'd probably have a very good shot at pulling this off.
Hell, maybe I could convince Thalia and Annabeth to come along.
"So, ready to go kill our grandpa?"
"I suppose I should say welcome home little brother, but with your memory gone this is technically your first time here." Cadius greeted from the bench he sat on.
We were in the Winchester estate's garden. Though calling it a garden would be underselling it by a country mile.
Exotic trees and trimmed hedges dotted the landscape as far as the eye could see. Some had bone-white trunks with blood-red leaves while others were solid black with neon pink branches. Several rivers cut across the entire thing and seemed chocked full of fish of both the supernatural and natural variety.
"The old man seems to have expensive taste." I said dryly as I gestured to the garden.
My older brother hummed in agreement as he slicked back some of his silver hair that the wind had blown astray, "That he did. He was inspired after an extended stay in Heaven. Though he added his own touch, based on some of the Flora and Fauna you'd find here."
I scoffed, "You're telling me someone who was the lord of a Devil House was allowed to stay in Heaven for any length of time?"
"Our father was popular amongst all the factions. So popular that particular stay resulted in one of our sisters."
"Let me guess, Michelle?"
"You guess would be correct." Cadius nodded before chuckling, "Azazel is still pissed about it to this very day."
"Why would Az-" I said before stopping myself and my eyes widened. If this was some bastardization of DXD…
"He knocked up Gabriel? The most beautiful woman in heaven?"
"The very same." Cadius confirmed, "We all come from very… prestigious lineages. I myself come from the House of Beal, Michelle is the daughter of an Archangel, Ashley is the daughter of a Fallen Archangel from the Fallen's Cadre, Jezebel is the daughter of the original Gremory-"
If I had been drinking water I would have done a spit take at the last part. Instead, I almost choked on air and covered it with a cough.
How fucking convenient.
"And you little brother are a Demigod with a direct lineage to Zeus himself. A powerful one too. From Human level to around Ultimate Class in less than 2 years. Color me impressed."
Hitting my brother with an observe I let out a snort as a bunch of ? where all that was shown to me.
"But not at your level." I said.
"No not yet. But as I've said you've impressed me with your growth so far. Maybe one day in the future you will be at a level where we can spar without holding back. I certainly look forward to that day, little brother."
Cadius wore a smile, but in those ember eyes was a hunger that unnerved me a bit.
Ah great, my older brother really was a battle manic.
Ah well, everyone had their quirks after all.
"That day maybe sooner than you think Cadius." I jabbed back with a roll of my eyes.
I didn't know what kind of XP I'd get from killing Kronos, but if I survived, that combined with the Quest XP should give me quite a healthy boost in power.
Cadius let out a laugh, "I'd expect nothing less from a Grandson of Lucifer. The blood and the pride that comes with it and that flows in our veins would demand nothing less for the both of us to battle at our peak."
My blood froze in my veins. Slowly my head turned back to face Cadius with wide eyes.
"I'm sorry, do you care to repeat that first bit?"
"What?" Cadius asked, "You already know that Art- ah yes your amnesia. I momentarily forgot about that."
Cadius let out a deep laugh as I continued to stare at him with wide eyes, "Well I suppose that's one way to learn about that little secret."
"Lucifer is our Grandmother?!" I asked again out of slight outrage, "Are you fucking kidding me?!"
Cadius sent me an amused look, "Come now, Arthur. You've been able to use her blade this entire time and before you our father used it. Do you really think that an Archangel, much less the Devil herself, would let a bunch of nobody's use her blade? Especially when unlike her brother she is not imprisoned and is free to go wherever she pleases?"
Goddamnit. Fucking stupid ass random select. That option was slowly becoming the bane of my existence.
I let out a sigh, "Just take your damn sword already."
Unceremoniously I yanked Abyss Watcher out of my inventory and tossed it to him.
Summoning my own sword I gave my brother a nod, "As fun and educational as this has been, this is where we part ways."
"Oh? I thought Michelle had mentioned you would be staying for the holidays?" Cadius asked.
"I had meant to, but if you haven't heard I have a great grandfather who is trying to start WW3 and destroy my Pantheon. So I got that to deal with." I explained as I stood up and pulled my own blade from my inventory, "So I got some heavy training to get to and some Titan slaying to do."
With that slashed the air beside me and opened a new portal, "See you later bro."
"Arthur." Cadius stopped me before I could walk through the dimensional tear I had created, "Do you believe you are capable of beating these Titans as you are now?"
Arching an eyebrow at what he was getting at I let out a sigh, "Maybe. I got a few tricks up my sleeve. Why? Are you offering to help?"
"In a way." Cadius cryptically replied with a smirk of his own, "Once you're done with that little training trip of yours, come back here before you fight these Titans. I wish to test you and see if you are worthy."
I let out a snort, "Worthy of what?"
Cadius simply smiled, "I'll save that as a surprise. Of course, in return, I'll need something in return if you accept and pass my little test. Until then, farewell little brother."
I shook my head as I stepped through the portal.
This is what you meant by me finding other ways to earn power through my biblical lineage, isn't it a game?
!
Yes.
