This was the most bizarre game in NFL history. The focus of the entire crowd was not on the players, but on a white man wearing a referee's uniform.
This was Observer-03. He stood at the center of the field, wearing a black baseball cap and sunglasses, looking intensely mysterious and cold. A silver wristband, the energy indicator of the Gravity Controller, pulsed with a faint red light beneath the cuff of his referee uniform.
Before the game, Observer-03 walked up to Levi, his voice low and provocative.
"Levi Wang," Observer-03's voice came through the uniform's microphone, but only Levi heard the cold stream of information beneath.
"My Emotional Lock System prevents you from losing control, correct?"
"Too bad you forgot that your power is derived from kinetic energy. When that energy is nullified by multi-fold gravity, your prideful Indestructible Body will be heavier than a brick!"
Levi looked at him, his face a mask of extreme calm enabled by the Emotional Lock.
"You are not a referee," Levi said flatly. "You are here to die."
"To die?" Observer-03 laughed arrogantly. "No, I am here to announce the rules of the game."
He violently raised his right arm and activated the Gravity Controller!
[Gravity Controller: Activated!]
Following a system chime that only Levi could hear, Levi felt an immediate, overwhelming weight! The sensation was like instantly carrying several hundred pounds! His knees buckled violently, and his feet instantly pressed two deep impressions into the turf!
[WARNING! Host body subjected to environmental gravity: 500%! Energy Critical Threshold is being forcibly suppressed!]
"This is my Special Sanction!" Observer-03 sneered. "Five times gravity! Levi! You are now a three-thousand-pound rock! Under my rule, you can't even walk!"
The crowd and the players didn't know what was happening; they only saw Levi's body suddenly stiffen, his knees bent, seemingly enduring immense pain!
"Levi! What's wrong?" Quarterback Purdy asked, alarmed.
Levi clenched his jaw, his muscles groaning in protest! His Indestructible Body, under five times gravity, felt like it was being compressed down to the atomic level!
"I'm fine!" Levi forced out the word. The calm of his Emotional Lock was being slowly torn apart by this brute physical force!
The game began. 49ers on offense.
Levi struggled to move forward, each step like dragging a truck! His speed was slower than an average high school running back!
The Seahawks' defenders rushed forward excitedly! They didn't know what Levi was suffering, but they knew his speed was gone!
"Tackle him!"
Two defenders immediately clung to Levi's waist!
In a normal game, Levi would have shaken them off with a slight burst. But now!
Levi stood motionless! His body, suppressed by the five times gravity, was glued to the spot! All kinetic energy he tried to generate was instantly absorbed by the Gravity Controller and crushed back into his body!
"He's suppressed! He can't move!" the commentator yelled. "This is the effect of the 'Special Sanction'! Levi has become a sitting duck!"
The Seahawks' defenders swarmed Levi like ants, using every ounce of their strength to drag him to the ground!
THUD!
Levi slammed onto the ground with the weight of five times gravity! The turf was deeply indented!
"Tackle successful!" Observer-03's voice, laced with the arrogance of victory, rang through the stadium!
"Levi Wang! Your power has been terminated by the rules!"
This was the first time this season Levi had been tackled to the ground in such a humiliating manner!
Levi lay on the ground, immobile. His Indestructible Body felt impotence for the very first time!
Observer-03 walked up to Levi and lightly tapped his helmet with the sole of his referee shoe.
"Levi, I told you long ago."
"Your anger-driven engine is meaningless in the face of my physical laws!"
"You can't even lift a finger! Beg for mercy! Tell me the secret of your System!"
Levi grit his teeth, his eyes filled with unyielding fire. The calm of his Emotional Lock kept him from losing control. But he knew if this continued, he would be crushed into suffocation!
On the sideline.
Sophie, despite her resignation, was at the stadium. She watched Levi struggling, her heart wrenching.
On her receiver, Levi's Critical Energy level was rapidly dropping, being forcibly compressed by the Gravity Controller!
"He's being suppressed! The energy is being squeezed out!" Sophie's face was white.
She knew if Levi's energy level dropped to zero, his body could instantly collapse from the inability to support five times gravity!
Sophie suddenly remembered the data she had monitored in her lab.
"Gravity... reactionary force..." A flash of insight struck Sophie's mind!
"No! Levi's Indestructible Body doesn't just withstand kinetic energy; it stores reactionary force!"
"If he releases all his kinetic energy directly into the ground! He can generate an anti-gravity shockwave!"
Sophie didn't hesitate. She grabbed her phone and sent an encrypted text message to Levi's helmet—a message only he could see!
The message contained only one sentence, yet carried all of Sophie's love and desperation:
"Levi! Hit the ground! Use your Critical Threshold to smash the rules!"
On the field.
Levi saw the message. His eyes instantly lit up!
He understood!
Use his own power to fight the gravity!
He took a deep breath, and the muscles in his body began to exert force in reverse! He concentrated all the kinetic energy suppressed by the gravity onto his hands and knees!
His body, pinned to the ground by five times gravity, suddenly started to vibrate with a low-frequency hum!
"What is he trying to do?" Observer-03 watched Levi in alarm!
Levi's face broke into an arrogant and excited grin.
"Get off me!"
Levi violently executed an atomic-level "reverse collision" with his hands and knees against the turf!
BOOM—!!!
A terrifying energy burst instantly erupted from beneath Levi's body!
The turf, which had been under five times gravity, instantly erupted upwards like a volcano!
Levi's body, like a rocket launching, lifted the entire mass of Seahawks players piled on him, and shot upwards!
He had broken free of the five times gravity!
Observer-03's face instantly went whiter than a dead fish. He spun around, staring at the colossal kinetic energy rocketing skyward, his eyes wide with fear and despair.
"Impossible! How could he... escape Earth's gravity?!"
