June 15th it snowed.. Snow in summer was unusual of course I had to check it out. The snow cold against my hand holding it in my palm it didn't melt. I couldn't regulate my body temperature so the snow was cold just as my hands.
It always baffled doctors. I mean is it really that abnormal? I used to spend weeks in the hospital... It make me think of... Wait no that's off track for this story.
I didn't have a jacket on as I drew in the snow. I sat there poking the snow watching as cars pass. It kept getting colder I was turning purple from the cold.
I closed my eyes and layed in the snow. I thought "How long will this take? When will it be over?" I was starting to go numb my mind was drawling blanks.
I heard steps but my eyes couldn't open I was out cold but could still hear everything. It felt as if I was being picked up and carried. I felt myself being placed in a car and a blanket put over me. I could hear the car turn on and start to drive.
I was warmer now because the car heat. The blanket also helped, it was thick. I wanted to open my eyes but they where shut I was exhausted past point of waking up any time soon. I started to dream as the car went on.
I felt my limp body get picked up again the person was warm. I was placed in a bed and was tucked in. My hands still purple and covered in frost. My lips where even more purple.
