Hokage Office.
"Have you been well, Tsunade?" Hiruzen asked while smiling warmly.
"Are you cursing me old geezer? What could go wrong with me?" Tsunade harrumphed, "Get your questions over with quickly I'm a busy person."
"You brat… You could show some respect to the Hokage you know?" Hiruzen smiled wryly, before removing his Hokage hat and placing it on the table. He brought his tobacco pipe to his mouth and took a quick puff.
"How's Shizune doing?"
"She's fine, I plan to have her enrol in the academy. I've taught her the basics of Chakra already."
"How's her talent?" He asked curiously.
"Second to mine."
"That's certainly great news, Konoha is indeed in desperate need of a medical ninja. Will you return to your position as the director of Konoha Hospital?"
"No." Tsunade paused, "... I'm useless now. I've developed a phobia of blood."
"...What?" Hiruzen froze in place, his expression turning grave. This news didn't simply mean Tsunade was no longer a medic but also a ninja incapable of combat.
This was terrible news for Konoha…
Her strange behaviour in the war after Kato Dan's death had been initially attributed to her state of mind but this was far worse than he had imagined.
Konoha could afford to lose her combat ability but not her medical skills.
Yet there was still hope.
"That young man you've brought with you…" Hiruzen hinted for Tsunade to explain.
"He's Ryuzaki, a disciple I randomly trained a few years ago during the war. I went to visit him last month and noticed he had improved significantly. He'll soon be close to my level as a Medical Ninja."
"Good… good. I'm delighted to hear this. What about his strength?"
"Should be Elite-Chunin, nearing Jonin. His Chakra reserves hold him back. Additionally, he lacks formal training as a Ninja so there might be significant differences in an actual fight."
"Huuu,"Hiruzen exhaled, "That's great news for Konoha. Let's hope he can reach your level soon and you'll recover as well. Konoha will be in the hands of Medical Ninjas like him and you."
"It seems like you're misunderstanding something old man." Tsunade's voice turned cold, "I haven't returned to Konoha. I simply came to drop Shizune off. I'll stay for a while before leaving with Ryuzaki. Shizune's medical skills will develop greatly in a few years, you don't have to worry."
"Tsunade…" Hiruzen wanted to rebuke her but paused, he couldn't bring himself to scold his disciple who had lost both her brother and lover back to back.
"You shouldn't do this, Konoha needs your and young Ryuzaki's strength." He spoke softly.
"I didn't come here to have a discussion with you." Tsunade turned around, "Also if I notice any Anbu around Ryuzaki, best believe you won't ever see my face in this village again." Perhaps knowing what her future was in the hands of Ryuzaki, she issued the last order.
"Of course, anyone but you would bring someone who would harm Konoha." Hiruzen waved his hand in the air, indicating for the remaining Anbu to recall the ones that were monitoring Ryuzaki, "But you know Kushina's situation, just last year she had been almost kidnapped by Cloud Ninja. Thankfully Minato saved her in time."
"What!?" Tsunade slammed her fists on his desk, sending splinters everywhere, "What the hell is the security of this village doing! Have you gone senile old man! What do you mean almost kidnapped?"
Cold sweat poured down Hiruzen's forehead.
"Cough cough, calm down. The situation was under control. They were caught quickly."
Tsunade's rage simmered. Kushina was her last living relative in this village, her cousin! She couldn't let anything happen to her!
"Fine! I don't care! But I won't accept any surveillance while Kushina is in my residence or with me! If there's a hint of any spying I'll personally smash this building to pieces and break that damned crystal ball of yours!"
Tsunade stormed off in anger.
Hiruzen watched her leave with a wry but regretful expression.
"Call Danzo, Homura and Utahare. Tell them it's important."
He gestured in the air once again, lost in thought.

Tsunade huffed in anger as she made her way towards her house.
The large mansion was a property of the Princess of the Senju Clan. Even five to six houses merged couldn't compare to its sheer size. Not to mention the courtyard behind it, wide enough for a full fight!
Though as she returned home, she noticed the gates were still locked.
"Where did they go?" A pang of anxiety struck Tsunade's heart.
Shizune was with that demonic man.
Had he betrayed her? Had he broken their promise? Had he toyed with her to simply enter Konoha? Had he kidnapped Shizune?
No matter how tough Tsunade acted outwardly, her current mental state was on the verge of breaking down. A single crack more and she'd descend into madness, probably to never recover.
Ryuzaki had forced her into the abyss only to pull her out himself and now Tsunade couldn't bear being pushed back into that empty darkness again.
She couldn't—
"Tsunade-nee! You're back!"
Tsunade hastily turned around noticing Kushina and two familiar figures. Her sweaty palms unclenched and her pounding heart slowly calmed down. She did her best to appear normal as she turned to Kushina.
"How have you been, Kushina? That old man told me you were almost kidnapped last year, what happened?"
"Eh, hehe it was a close call I guess." Kushina giggled, rubbing the back of her head bashfully, "Thankfully a close friend rescued me."
"These lazy scoundrels, I can't believe they allowed you to even get kidnap—" Tsunade paused, noticing the fleeting mocking smile that crept up Ryuzaki's face.
A sense of dread crept up Tsunade's heart.
"Uhm Kushina… what's the name of the person who saved you?"
"Oh oh, he's amazing Tsunade-nee! His name is Minato Namikaze! He's super strong and he's also the disciple of Jiraiya-sama, a Sannin like you! Ah uhm he… he also doesn't hate me like the others…"
Kushina's words did nothing to soothe Tsunade's restless heart.
How could she not notice the infatuation in Kushina's voice and expression? Tsunade forced the grim feeling down before smiling faintly, "Let's go inside,"
Kushina noticed nothing of Tsunade's emotions and headed inside while skipping her steps. A naturally boisterous girl, she was full of energy.
"Say Tsunade-nee, where'd you meet Ryuzaki-san? Also, has he mastered the Yin-Seal like you and Grandma Mito? He must be super strong then!"
Kushina spoke excitedly and Shizune couldn't resist chiming in with her own knowledge, feeling excitement of her own, "Yeah, Ryuzaki-nii is super strong! He sent Tsunade-sama flying with a single kick!"
"What!?" Kushina's eyes widened in astonishment.
Both Ryuzaki and Tsunade froze.
"It's because Tsunade-sensei was letting me test my strength and she was drunk. I'm still nowhere near her level." Ryuzaki declined Shizune's boasting humbly causing her to pout.
"Shizune go get your material ready and check your clothes for tomorrow." As Shizune spoke to resist, Tsunade shot her a stern glance, "Right now."
"...okay." she left dejectedly.
"Hey! You're being mean to her, Tsunade-nee!" Kushina couldn't help but interject.
"Hmph, young lady you have your own work to do. How dare you let some random trash pick you up and abduct you!" Tsunade snorted in anger.
Kushina felt indignant, "They were way stronger than me! At least Jōnin!"
"So what? Couldn't you even put up a fight to wait for reinforcements? Clearly, you have work to do instead of indulging in random trivialities. Keep your identity in mind."
"Hmph! You're being way too harsh Tsunade-nee, did the Hokage-sama anger you somehow? I'll visit tomorrow, you're definitely being grumpy right now! Bye, Ryuzaki-san!" Kushina dashed in retreat, though not forgetting to wave goodbye to Ryuzaki.
Tsunade and Ryuzaki were left alone in the mansion.
"Kushina she…" Tsunade spoke up, wanting him to explain his mocking smile from earlier.
Ryuzaki walked up to her and pulled her in for an abrupt kiss. Tsunade was startled and initially resisted but after a moment stopped resisting. She let Ryuzaki ravage her mouth, her face flushing because of the heat coursing through her body.
Ryuzaki pulled her into one of the rooms of the mansion and pushed Tsunade onto the bed. Tsunade panted in resignation and reluctance, slowly backing away till she hit the bed rest of the bed.
Ryuzaki climbed onto the bed and cupped her face again, pulling her into another deep kiss. Tsunade squirmed in his grasp. She barely had time to breathe. She hated how her body was warming up, as if welcoming his savagery.
She pushed him away, a string of saliva separating their lips. She looked at Ryuzaki with a dazed expression as he grabbed her soft petite hand and pressed it against his massive throbbing erection through the robe.
Tsunade's heart pounded with dread.
Was he not even going to wait a single day?
