He was only around for the minimum amount of time humanly possible and the rest of the time, he was off to the Pei residence.
Pei Lifu had apologised because she thought Pei Shi was courting Xu Wei. She finally seemed to believe there was nothing going on between him and that guy.
Which wass quite the relief. He got goosebumps just remembering it.
Just as he was thinking that, a head popped through his office door.
"I'm off. Don't wait for me."
Qin Yue resisted the urge to roll his eyes.
"Of course you are"
If Xu Wei was an employee rather than a boss, just the number of absences alone would have cost him his job. It didn't matter that he usually got his work done before leaving.
Xu Wei flashed him a grin.
"Don't wait for me."
He was gone in a flash, not even giving Qin Yue the chance to answer.
Qin Yue shook his head slightly and focused on his work.
