"Welp, let's try it. After all, what's the harm?" Thought Ali. He put on his gear, and walked over to the strikers end, ready to face Nakul. Ali was good at hitting most balls, but was a bit uncomfortable against the doosra ball. He got into batting stance, and Nakul began his run up.

A Yorker ball. It flew near Ali's toes, but he defended it, leading to a dot ball. The last ball of Nakul's over too, became a dot ball.

[Ali 0* (2) | Manish 57* (30) 82/0]

After this, it was Chinnar's second over. However, before the bowling, Shrivastav told him something. He nodded, and the 11th over began.

Manish was calm. He knew that Ali was good at acting as an anchor. So he decided to start going on the offensive. Chinnar threw a doorsa, which was lofted upwards. Unfortunately it fell in no man's land and the catch was dropped, so Manish had to settle with 2 runs.

[Ali 0* (2) | Manish 59* (31) 84/1]

Manish initially planned on a single, but took a double instead due to Ali's insistence. He was surprised. Who was the real set batsman? Was it him, or Ali? Chinnar then threw his second ball. This time it was a leg spinner coming right towards the wicket.Manish went for a single and Ali got into the batting stance, this time facing Chinnar Rai.

[Ali 0* (2) | Manish 60* (32) 85/1]

Rai was a calm player, one who idolized Moeen Ali and his ability to use spin to completely choke batsmen, and prevent them from scoring even a single run. So to do the same, in a big stage was his dream, but he was only able to do so as he was on a scholarship. If he performed badly even once, the district cricket board would revoke his sports scholarship.

His father was a labourer while his mother was a chemist at a corner store. No matter the situation in his life though, he always took it with a smile.

Chinnar Rai smiled again, his purpose in this match crystal clear. I must take their wickets… for mom and dad…choking isn't enough..it's time to take the kill! Rai thought to himself. This time he changed the spin to a top spinner, forcing Ali to adapt again, this time taking a single. Then Manish was back, he thought Chinnar would simply switch to a off spinner ball, but this time the ball spun between Manish's legs and hit the wicket, leading to his dismissal. Mohit then wore his pads and got ready to bat against Chinnar Rai, but he was cautious and decided to play defensively till the end of Chinnar Rai's over. Rai threw a carrom ball, something nobody expected, as he had secretly trained himself in bowling it.

This time however, the ball hit Mohit's bat, and went up high, getting caught easily by Shrivastav and his temporarily boosted fielding. The Blue House players celebrated, as Shrivastav screamed loudly, "We won't give them a single run or a chance, will we?" The Blue House players once again were in a state of maximal skill, ready to pull the ground under the Green House's feet.

[Ali 1* (3) | Imran 0* (0) 85/3]

Shrivastav slightly clutched his elbow, which hurt after he pulled his hand too much while taking a catch. It was like he had a lot of ideas in his mind, but it was trapped in a small body. Nakul asked if he was ok, and Shrivastav told him it was fine, while getting ready for the final ball of Chinnar's over.

Rai then ran forward, throwing another top spinner. Luckily Imran was very good at defending his wicket, and hence the over ended.

[Ali 1* (3) | Imran 0* (1) 85/3]

Overs 12-14, Ali faced Nakul and his bowling again, once again deciding to be defensive. In this over, Ali only went for singles and doubles, in order to prevent the loss of his wicket. This wasn't merely to not lose his wicket, but was also to use the "Ultimate Anchor" skill. Due to his clinical play he got a buff of +2 to his batting overall.

[Ali 13* (9) | Imran 6* (7) 103/3]

It was Chinnar Rai's third over. The 15th over. 30 runs in 30 balls. A dangerous tipping point. If wickets weren't taken in this over, it would be the final nail in the coffin for the Blue House. He began his practice run up, and planned for the next over. Little did he know, his mind was accelerated by powers beyond his comprehension.

Ball 1, Chinnar Rai ran forward, his face betraying his mind, and bowled a doorsa to Ali. Ali tried to hit it, but it instead flew away to mid on, so he could only take a single.

[Ali 14* (10) | Imran 6* (7) 103/3]

Ball 2, Imran faced Rai's second ball, a top spinner, which was driven towards Shrivastav. Shrivastav with his buff in fielding saw the ball and was ready to stop it. But his body betrayed him, his hand tried to grip the ball, but instead the ball trudged on for a four. 25 runs in 29 balls. Chinnar Rai felt fear for the first time. How? Did they figure him out? No! I must calm down!

[Ali 14* (10) | Imran 10* (8) 103/3]

Imran was surprised. How did his slow defensive drive ball cut through Shrivastav, who was one of the best fielders in the Blue House? Imran immediately decided to target his region of the field, in order to test him further.

Ball 3, Chinnar Rai, nervous and after seeing Shrivastav's misfield, decided to make it as hard as possible to hit towards Shrivastav. He immediately bowled a inward leg spinner, which prevented any chance to target Shrivastav. So he instead hit the ball for a single.

[Ali 14* (10) | Imran 11* (9) 104/3]

Ball 4, Ali, by this point had figured Rai's pattern of bowling. His mind told him that the next ball was a doosra, but his gut told him it was a carrom ball. He decided to listen to his gut, and prepared to face the ball.

Rai threw the ball. Time slowed. The ball skidded towards Ali. A carrom ball. Ali moved the bat backwards, in order to prepare for the new type of shot the 360 vision had shown him.The ball moved in front of him, ready to fly into the wicket. But Ali moved forward, changed his stance and hit the ball with switch hit technique! The ball flew up high, and hit the boundary. A six! That too off the best bowler in the school. Chinnar's smile however, began to fade.

[Ali 20* (11) | Imran 11* (9) 110/3]

Ball 5, Chinnar Rai this time threw a leg spinner, that was going away from the wicket, but Ali once again used the technique of Kohli to produce a beautiful cover drive, the ball ran to the boundary line for a four.

[Ali 24* (12) | Imran 11* (9) 114/3]

Ball 6, Chinnar Rai was mentally exhausted, and so threw a slower ball which completely missed the length and so, Ali smashed it away for a six.

[Ali 30* (13) | Imran 11* (9) 120/3]

After this Imran acted as an anchor while Ali started playing aggressively. With their calmness and confidence, they finished the chase with a few overs to spare. The Green House had won. Against a team which was much stronger than them. Celebrations occurred throughout the field, while Chinnar Rai was in a state of complete despair. "If my team lost in the 1st round, will I even be selected for the school team?" He thought to himself.

Shrivastav saw this, and walked over to him. "Don't worry, you were the best player in our team today, you will definitely get selected. We will win the school tournament together! But not under my captaincy, I suppose.." Told Shrivastav, as though he had read Rai's mind. Rai calmed down, now in a better state of mind.

However, Ali wasn't celebrating, he knew that tycoon lover and Siddarth were still to be faced. Manish then told him, "Thank you for saving us! You played well today."

Ali then activated his system and asked it, "Analyze the Red House Team. We need to pull all the stops here.."
