Chapter 126 - Meeting the Princess

— Uchiha Soren

Class: Elemental Mage – Fire (Lv.10); Elemental Mage – Lightning (Lv.5)

Skills: Tier One, Tier Two, Tier Three magic

Combat Rating: Lv.15 (Platinum-ranked adventurer; capable of Tier Three magic)

Ascension Points: …(continuously increasing)

With the arrival of a new day, Soren casually leveled up again, now fully capable of using Tier Three magic. Not far from the Central Shinobi Army encampment, he began testing a series of third-tier spells.

"Tier Three Magic — Flight."

A green array glowed beneath him. Soren felt the free-floating mana of the world resonating with the power in his own body, lifting him gently off the ground.

The speed, however, was painfully slow—like a leisurely turtle crawl. No wonder thieves mocked magic casters for their sluggish mobility.

Still, as a dignified spell-user, he quickly devised a complementary technique.

"Tier Three Magic — Acceleration."

Soren willed it, and his speed rose to roughly two meters per second, allowing him to move freely through the air.

Uchiha Lei, observing beside him, narrowed his eyes.

"Supreme Leader… you aren't using chakra."

The energy fluctuation was entirely different. Lei briefly considered applying for a cloned body from the Shinobi Academy so he could study foreign magic himself. Even if ninety percent of the Otherworld's inhabitants were weak, the magic system itself held intriguing value.

Soren glanced at the lush forest below as he maneuvered through the air.

(The Shinobi Continent has no mana—only natural energy. To fly requires Dust Release or similar methods.)

(Tier Three magic casters can fly here, but once they leave the Otherworld, their power drops by seventy or eighty percent.)

Soren suppressed the resonance with external mana, relying only on his internal magic. Immediately, his flying speed plummeted, while the mana cost surged.

In short—

A magic caster outside the Otherworld was… unimpressive.

(If I could master the Sea of Mana, that alone would put me on the level of a "Magic Deity." Outfitting every shinobi with external magic modules would become trivial.)

(If I merge chakra and mana using the Sea of Mana as a foundation… I could become something akin to Otsutsuki Kaguya—a progenitor of power. A new source for all extraordinary beings.)

After contemplating, Soren descended slightly and cast another Tier Three spell.

"Lightning Strike."

A blinding flash tore through the air—

A row of trees was cleaved cleanly in half, smoke sizzled at the charred edges.

"Tier Three Magic — Fireball."

A massive sphere of flame blasted forth, exploding among the trees. Sparks scattered across damp morning plants, sending up heavy smoke.

"Tier Three Magic — Water Orb."

Two huge water spheres formed, descending to smother the smoke and embers.

Soren exhaled.

"Lei, let's head to the capital."

"It's time to meet the Golden Princess—Lana."

His mana nearly spent, he allowed himself to float downward.

Moments later, he and Uchiha Lei entered a teleportation circle, emerging in the heart of the capital—beneath the weight of years carved into the ancient royal citadel, Ro-Lent.

"Supreme Leader!"

Combat shinobi bowed deeply as Soren passed.

He walked through the central palace—admiring fountains, gardens, and murals—until arriving at an imposing double door.

"Supreme Leader, the captured Third Princess, Lana, is already waiting inside the Throne Hall."

As the doors opened, dawn poured through tall windows, bathing the hall in radiant gold.

For a moment, the sunlight became a thousand shimmering threads weaving a magnificent tapestry.

Soren's gaze settled on the long red carpet leading to the throne.

There she stood.

A slender young girl—blooming like a newly opened flower—brilliant beneath the morning light.

Her smooth golden hair framed pale, snow-like skin. A suspended golden gem rested at her brow beneath the coronet, setting her alight like a peerless treasure.

Her beauty was striking enough that even the well-traveled Soren couldn't help a flicker of surprise.

(So this is the Shinobi World's Supreme Leader?)

(A man… whose first instinct is to admire a woman.)

Princess Lana caught that tiny shift in his gaze. Her sapphire eyes sparkled with innocent curiosity—

yet beneath that softness hid a mind wielding the ultra-rare Genius class.

Anything she chose to learn—combat, nobility, acting—began at Level 5 mastery.

In the realm of battle, she was a budding expert.

In noble etiquette or performance, she was already at master level.

If she wanted, she could even master the craft of seduction with terrifying speed.

(This is troublesome… I love Climb. If the Supreme Leader loses control and tries to force himself on me—what will I do?)

With a pure, angelic smile, Lana lifted her skirt gracefully in greeting.

Inside, however, as Uchiha Lei quietly closed the great doors, her heart tightened.

(I cannot die yet. If I die… I will never see my beloved Climb again.)

The image of Climb imprisoned in the dungeon flashed across her mind, making her smile appear even sweeter—every expression perfectly controlled, like a master actress.

"Princess Lana, this is the Supreme Leader."

Soren ascended the pristine throne, sitting with unrestrained confidence.

Uchiha Lei stepped aside and spoke softly.

"I greet the Supreme Leader."

Her voice was gentle—like her delicate form.

Even her brief, curious upward glance carried respect and fascination that subtly eased Soren's mood.

He studied her.

"The Third Princess… radiant like a jewel."

She lowered her gaze with flawless humility—never appearing weak, merely refined.

Soren exhaled with a mix of admiration and regret.

"To be born on this continent is misfortune enough… but to be born human, with your potential forever capped—truly unfortunate."
