I sensed one of my variants in the omniverse needed help as it was peaceful as I teleported to that universe.
Apparently here people chosen had abilities in combat, talents, magic, technology, weapons, items, and martial arts, regular people can't know about this world as it's too dangerous to bring them in.
My variant was about to be killed by an assassin cause she witnessed a murder or attempted as he struck the woman but couldn't finish it to chase after me.
Normal people don't have abilities but only a few choosen do, the rich know to hire people with gifts as bodyguards.
As the assassin appeared like a shadow I blocked the blade with my finger shocking him as he got blasted into the alley wall creating a impact crater as spar blood to drop on his knees.
"H-How? They said you h-had no abilities." (Assassins)
"I hid them, you think I would reveal what I can do to weaklings, but oh well." (Hope)
I just breathed as he instantly dies.
"Well that boring, let's see what he got on him." (Hope)
I walked up to check him as I saw a technique book, Shadow Eclipse Arts, and two dual long daggers that are sharp, the daggers are made with the shadow gift enhancing the abilities, I'll keep them.
I put the book and daggers in storage as I checked him, he had valuables like gold and jewels on him as I took them to see he had nothing left.
