I know that I should have been looking away but I just couldn't help peaking at him and he was just sitting there looking all smug"What are you doing here??"..he got up from thd bed and headed straight to me and had this weird smirk on his face "Well a particular someone refused to let me go home so I believe I had no choice."What was he talking about..I didn't force him to...then suddenly out of nowhere all the memories from when he took me home came back.."So this is my bed..and you...can lay on it."my hand was busy brushing against his face and he didn't seem to mind"You..are the most handsomest man I've ever seen.".." uhh I don't think that's a real word.."After that he tried to put me to bed"Well I have to go now..let go."..."No ,don't go...if you go I'll be lonely again..so please don't go."I held on to him...it's so embarrassing "Okay but it doesn't explain why you're half naked in my bed."He looked at me in disbelief "Do you really want me to take you down memory lane??."and again I remembered I had vomited all over him and since none of my clothes fitted him he had no choice but to only be in his underwear "Oohh..uhm..yeah I remember now.I apologize.."I went to the bathroom and took of his clothes he gave me earlier and washed them and put them in a dry cleaner.When I came out he was just wandering around my room as if it was some kind of amusement park.
"Uhm since none of my clothes fit you..I just washed your clothes you just have to wait for them."He nodded " In the meantime you can go take a bath.."I handed him a towel and stayed in the bathroom for atleast 2 hours..was he bathing for an oscar??even the eldery in the hospital did not take this long to just take a bath.When he came out his long hair was still wet and it seemed to be longer..his white part of the hair seemed to be more evident..He looked like some kind of K pop idol..I noticed him looking at me and quickly averted my gaze to somewhere else..just then I heard keys clashing and the door knob turning slowly" Shit!!what time is it??"I ran to my phone and it was just 10 o'clock in the morning ..what??didn't she say she'll be back in the afternoon"Why are you running like someone who just had an affair and doesn'twant to be caught"His voice was mocking and I was not in high spirits"Hey go and get your clothes in the dry cleaner and zip it okay.."
"DON'T make a sound you hear me??don't even breathe.."He shook his head like a little kid listening to their parents.."Pumpkin!!!i'm home.."I ran out of my room before she even thinks of coming in"Ooh hey mom..You're back early."She seemed worn out "Ooh ,Margie asked me to take her shift on Monday and she took mine and that's how I'm here.. "She started to stare at me up and down"Why are you sweating??"Ooh god am I being that obvious "What??me sweating??I'm not..maybe it's just because I just got of the shower and I'm wet....yes...I'm just ..wet mom."She still looked at me suspiciously"Are you hiding something from me pumpkin."my sweating just got worse"uhm no mom..what could I possibly hide from you??"Just then a voice I did not want to hear even breathe just took a breathe.."Uhm..you didn't tell me where you're dry cleaner was.."He was just standing there with only a towel covering him up and his abs were for all my mother to see..
He had already tied his hair up so it didn't look messy..Mom looked at me then at him..then at me and then at him...I was literally drowning in my sweat"Ooh hi Kao's mom."He had a sly smile on his face..I gave him a hard glare but he avoided my gaze and just focused on mom..she got up slowly and I was just about to explain myself when she just snapped"Ooh pumpkin..you have a guest??why didn't you say so??where is your hospitality.."She immediately went to him "Ooh dear the dry cleaner is in the second room to your right..Ooh get dressed I'll make you breakfast okay sweetie."He seemed delighted but still avoided eye contact..Mom made pancakes and the table had lots and lots of cake..Mario and mom talked like they've known each other for a long time..it was the best breakfast I've ever had in years not because of the food...but the people in it..
"Oooh you're such a good child Mario...thank you for being my son's friend..he may look like a quite and non social kid but trust me he's a lot of fun.."I was just happy she hadn't started talking about my embarrassing moments from when I was a kid"Ooh Mario I didn't quite catch your last name.."He sat there quite for a minute"It's Shinzi..."for a moment I saw his expression change from happy to sad in and in just an instant changed back to happy or maybe it was just my imagination"Ooh it's a pleasure to know you dear..I'm Kao's mom as you already know....Lila Anade.."Mario suddenly chocked on his food and I had to get him some water..it took him a while to regain his composure"I'm sorry but did you say your name was Lila Anade??."My mom nodded in confusion..He suddenly stopped smiling genuinely but pretended ..
Mom couldn't tell but I could..he suddenly stopped eating his food happily but just picked on it..after a while mom got tired and had to get some sleep...I stayed behind with Mario who looked confused not happy or sad and not even angry.."Are you okay??"He just nodded and took his phone out and made a call..I couldn't hear what he was saying because he was talking in Korean which wasn't my best or even favorite language.."Uhm I have to go somewhere..."His mood looked off but I didn't want to pressure him to tell me what was wrong"okay bye."He walked out the door and didn't even turn back.
