Arriving in atmosphere of Coruscant's, the cruisers under Fisto's command began making their decent towards the plant's surface. Starting landing procedures once contact with the planet's air traffic control was made and clearance given. Shortly after the three cruisers were directed to a near by Judicial security space port.
While in transit to the port the Republic's Judicial Head office would be contacted and be notified in a brief summary of the situation and events that lead up to it.
Upon the ships landing a large group of officers and policeman affiliated with Judicial department could be seen standing by at the port, ready to receive and take custody of the rescued civilians, and seeing to their needs.
Now on solid ground Kit Fisto oversaw the transfer of civilians, wanting to make sure everything went smoothly and no incidents occurred. At the same Fisto would give a more detail report to a Judicial security force lieutenant, about the rescues circumstances.
"Thank you for your help master Jedi. We'll see to it that these people are properly cared for and contact there families right away"
"Thank you lieutenant I leave them in you capable hands"
"I gotta say thought, pirates sure are getting even bolder by the day. But I don't get why they bother attack a plain civilian transport like this. They couldn't have expected to make many credits from capturing one. Well---unless they planned to sell all the passengers and crew to slavers"
Little did the captain know, that was exactly what the pirates had in mind.
"Let us be thankful that we will never find out. Now then if you have everything under control here, I will take my leave"
Kit Fisto started walking away with a hovering infant pod trailing closely behind him. Inside it was the miraluka baby who he recently found
"Master Jedi! please wait a moment"
Stopping in place and peering over his shoulder, he looked back at the lieutenant.
"Yes, lieutenant "
"Uhmm----well--please forgive me for stopping you but I must ask where are you taking that child. Isn't he one of the rescuee we're supposed to being receiving"
The lieutenant asked with apologetic look.
"No need for you to be concerned, the jedi order will be taking charge of this child. I'm sure you can understand"
He said with a small smirk before continuing on his way.
The Chief quickly understood Kit Fistos's meaning and gave a nod.
It was not commonly known to the people the Republic that the Jedi order took in young children who have been either orphaned or who's parent have given consent, to be raised and trained as jedi if they showed a high aptitude of force sensitivity.
But for those who work with the jedi on a common bases, like the Republics Judicial forces, they quiet a wear of this practice.
"Of course! understood sir I won't keep you, would you like me to arrange a transport for you to the temple"
"A kind offer, but no need. I a pickup for me should be arriving shortly"
Fisto said after pressing a button on his wrist mounted communicator, signaling a shuttle from the jedi temple to his location.

Location : Jedi Temple - Council chamber
(A/N: these are the current members I believe were on the council at this point in the timeline. Yoda, Mace Windu, Yarael Poof, Eeth Koth, Poli Dapatian, Jocasta Nu, Tera Sinube, Depa Billaba, Even Piell, Yaddle, Oppo Rancisis, Ki Adi Mundi)
Inside the high council chamber that lay top the high council tower of the ancient jedi temple, Kit Fisto stood before the seated council presenting a report regarding his recent mission to apprehend the pirates plaguing the Bright Jewel Sector.
"Knight Fisto, welcome you back, we do"
Yoda said with a tranquil aura as he looked upon Kit Fisto
"Thank you grandmaster Yoda. I have much to report to the council, especially about a discovery I made during my mission"
Many of the council members became curious from hear Fisto's word, Yoda included. But before anyone could inquire more on Fisto's meaning, the room's attention was draw to someone else.
The councils newest members Mace Windu.
"A moment please before we address this new discovery, can you please explain to the council why you abandoned your primary mission"
Windu said with an oppressive stare and strong tone in his words. But Fisto was not intimidated by this in the slightest.
"Master Windu I can assure you I did not abandoned my mission. As you all read in the written report I provided, I and the assigned judicial force task group engaged the reported pirates while they were attacking a civilian transport.
After the short battle that transpired we captured their command ship and arrested any surviving pirates abroad that surrendered willing"
"Yes but It also said in your report that you accessed the pirate command ship and discovered their main base, but instead of continuing to apprehend the remaining pirates you chose to return. Did you not?"
Eeth Koth spoke this time
"Yes, that is correct"
"May I ask why?"
Koth pushed his line of questioning. Seeking to uncover the reasoning behind Kit Fisto's action. While Koth didn't wish to come off as if he was judging or condemning Fisto's actions, he felt having this question answered soon would be for the best.
"After the space battle it was determined that the civilian's ship was beyond the level repair that we could have provide on site, and it was deemed necessary that we bring them back to safely and out of harms way. In add, the pirates data showed that their base was relatively small in size and low on man power. Most likely the raiding ships we defeated held the better portion of their available personal. At the time I judged that the full strength of the task force would not be needed to subdue the pirate base. So I and the judicial commanding officer came to agree that it would be best that I escort the civilians back to safety while and the remaining forces continued the operation"
Making sure that the reason behind his decision was clearly heard to all present Kit Fisto's voice was concise and calm. As he was sure he was not in the wrong for what he did.
"There in there lies my concern, your decision to leave your mission halfway through. While your actions to see to the safety of the innocent are praise worthy, I'm sure you could have left that duty to the rest of the escorts assigned to guard them while you could have still jointed in the capture of the base, correct?"
Mace Windu, while acknowledging Fisto desire to keep people safe, made no attempt to hide his disapproval of Fisto not personally see the completion of his mission through. As a stern and by the books kind of jedi Windu strongly believed that all duties should be fulfilled in their entirety.
The sole exception being that if an emergency forces one to act otherwise. Of which Windu felt at any point of Fisto's situation during his mission, wasn't one.
A sentiment that was shared among a few other on the council.
"I must agree with master Windu"
"As do I"
Affirmation coming from masters Eath Koth and Oppo Rancisi
As the atmosphere in the council chamber became heavy, shifting in the direction of condemning Fisto, a voice of compassion and reason quickly spoke out in his defense.
"Perhaps we are being to hasty in denouncing knight Fisto. Afterall is it not a Jedi's duty to prioritizes protecting life, instead of seeking battle"
Speaking in Fisto's defense Master Yaddle made her opinion known.
Yaddle was a jedi who's years in service to the jedi was comparable to Yoda's, and was always a voice of understanding and wisdom to the council and the order as a whole.
She rarely spoke, but did not hesitate to intervene now. When it looked like certain members of the council had to focused on a negative aspect of this meeting, that had no point in being brought up.
"Let us not forget the recent update we received from the other assigned knights who were also sent with the Judicial task force"
Not too long before Kit Fisto returned to the temple he received a recorded transmission from the jedi who remained with the task force, in order to help deal the pirates. They Informed Fisto about the details of the operation and how it succeeded with minimal casualties.
After listening to it Fisto immediately sent a copy of the recorded transmission to the council for review.
"Since the mission was completed without issue I see no reason to continue calling Kit Fisto's judgment into question. And I for one believe he did what any true jedi would do"
She said sending Fisto a small relaxed smile. Who in turn returned the favor with a slight nod of gratitude.
"Be that is it may we can't overlook---"
Just as Oppo Rancisis tried to continue pushing the issue master Yoda with a raised hand. Silencing the discussion, returning peace to the chamber.
Yoda: "Calm my friends, we must remain. No errors I see Fisto have made. Correct master Yaddle, is. On to new matters, focus we such, no?"
With Yoda's words the council members accepted he's decision without farther argument, bowing their heads to the grandmaster in unison showing their agreement.
Yoda: "Hmm, not then, Knight Fisto, a new discovery you said you have, yes?"
Kit Fisto: "Yes master Yoda, during my assignment I happened upon a child the like of which I have never seen"

Now freed from the scrutiny that was being directed at him Fisto went over the details of the miraluka child he found during his mission.
He explained how the child's presumed parents had tragically passed, and the child's remarkable use of the force.
"My word, if this true then this quite something"
In part disbelief after hearing the tale, Yaddle expressed surprise at the possible that such a child exsist.
"For a mere infant to show such a strong connection to the force....Such a thing hasn't been hear of for centuries"
Poli Dapatian retorted
"Quite so, while its not rare for children to show a strong affinity, this truly remarkable, did one this young truly performed such a feet?"
Jocasta Nu asked.
On Fisto's claims a stir was erupted among the council, with many finding his words difficult to believe.
The council quickly decided to sent an order to the temples medical lab where Fisto had left the child first after returning to the temple for rudimentary exams before making his way to the high council. And had the child's midichlorians count tested.
Only a few minutes would pass before the results were sent t, and the results would cause even further shock.
"Well I suppose we have are answer to all the doubts"
Sinube said with a melo tone.
"My word, is this count correct!"
"It would appear so. The lab did stated they repeated the test three times to make sure the results were accurate before sending us the results"
Windu said in reply to Even Piell's disbelief, while stroking his chin in contemplation with narrowed eyes.
The report showed that the young Miralukan had an M count of 19,200. A count surpassing even jedi master Yoda himself.
"Hm----Indeed knight Fisto, a discovery made, truly you have"
Yoda said in confirmation of Kit Fisto's earlier musings.
"So given this new information, how should we handle this new charge, moving forward?"
Poli Dapatian asked?
"It goes with out saying the child must be taken in by the order. As the child has been recently orphaned it is the only reasonable course of action. Plus we can not allow such potential to go untrained or unchecked"
Ki Adi Mundi stated strongly.
"But does the he truly have no known living relatives left. We have only confirmed his parents are deceased"
"Tin is right, if the child has any other family we must reunite them. Only then his family consent can we discuss the possibly of taking the child in"
Reaching this point with no consensus the council contacted the judicial military to see if any of the little data that had be salvaged Corellian star shuttle had been repaired. In hopes that it may provide useful information to identify any likely relatives of the child.
Sadly they would find out most of the data pulled from the ship were either corrupted or outright destroyed, this included the ships passenger manifesto, which may have aided them.
It would have provided the child's parent's names, which in turn would have helped in locating known relatives.
Going in a different direction the council then tried seeing if the civilian ship the child was on had a main office or company headquarters. Such a place would surely have back up records of all their passengers.
But unfortunately the shuttle was a one ship, small time independent transport service. So the service had no documented land based offices. Meaning all records were likely kept and lost on the ship itself.
After that they asked Coruscant security to question the survivors in their custody. To see if any of them were familiar with the child or the deceased parents. But none of them were.
With all attempts at finding any living relatives ending in failure, a vote was held for the miraluka boy's induction in the order among the council.
The vote passed unanimously, the child was to be accepted into and be trained as a jedi.
