Allyson's POV
I rushed out of Michael's office, my heart racing and anger burning in my chest.
That impossible, controlling, maddening man.
My knees felt weak, and heat still pulsed between my legs from what he had done to me. Every nerve ending was alive, aching for something he refused to give me.
How could he do this to me?
How could he bring me to the edge and then just walk away like nothing happened?
I should have seen this coming. His calm acceptance earlier, that fake forgiveness - it was all part of his plan.
Michael Jade never let anything go unpunished.
Now he had me exactly where he wanted me. Wanting. Needing. Desperate.
I hated how much I craved him.
The elevator seemed miles away as I walked on unsteady legs. Just as I reached for the button, someone cleared their throat behind me.
I turned to find Lisha watching me with sharp, suspicious eyes.
Perfect. Just what I needed right now.
