Reagan's POV
Skye folded her arms across her chest, shooting me a look that could turn summer into winter. "Yeah, it really has been."
She paused, then flipped her hair back with deliberate sass. "Just flew back from Madrid yesterday. Best vacation of my life. Pure sunshine, incredible wine, and zero complications."
I let out a small laugh, ignoring the obvious dig. "Sounds amazing."
"It was perfect," she said flatly.
Trying to lighten things up, I offered, "You look fantastic. Never pictured you in the corporate scene though."
She raised one eyebrow, completely unimpressed. "Same to you. The office environment doesn't exactly scream your style."
I rolled my shoulders casually. "Family obligations. I'm part of the team now."
"So I've heard," she replied, her voice sharp enough to cut glass.
