"Mrs. Morris, you have deliveries," my assistant said, entering my office carrying an enormous bouquet of roses and two beautifully wrapped packages.
She placed everything on my desk, beaming. "Someone's clearly smitten with you."
Heat bloomed in my chest as I stared at the unexpected surprise. Only one person would send such extravagant gifts.
