I emerged from the bathroom with steam still clinging to my skin, a plush towel secured around my body and my wet hair twisted into a messy knot. The hot shower had left me feeling refreshed, and I padded barefoot toward the bedroom.
Then I stopped dead in my tracks.
Laid out across the pristine white sheets was an ensemble that made my pulse quicken. A midnight-black lace brassiere with intricate patterns, matching undergarments that left little to imagination, silky stockings that caught the morning light, and a form-fitting business dress that screamed power and sensuality in equal measure.
My fingertips traced the luxurious material. This wasn't department store fashion - this was designer quality, the kind of clothing that cost more than my monthly rent. The dress alone would probably turn heads in any boardroom, clinging to curves while maintaining an air of professional authority.
