Synopsis
In a distant past, a king, bound by duty to his people, and a young man from a conquered land dared to defy a world that denied them the right to happiness. Their love became a crime, their choice a sentence, and their names were erased by time. Centuries later, the Gods who once heard their prayers bring their souls together again, destined to recognize one another even in different forms and lives. Between memory and pain, duty and desire, fear and hope, they seek each other once more - unaware whether this reunion will be salvation or a repetition of the tragedy that came before. This is a story of a love that endures across the ages, of a fate from which there is no escape, and of feelings stronger than time itself.

Chapter 1 - - Prologue -

In the southeast of Chankrai lay the kingdom of Arichayan. It was renowned for its favorable location, fertile lands, and majestic temples. But it achieved its greatest glory during the reign of King Thirasak Siriporn. Following the sudden passing of the previous monarch, Siriporn, as the sole surviving heir, was forced to ascend the throne at an early age, proving time and again that he was worthy of it despite his youth. There were those who opposed this, but their pleas and schemes were not destined to succeed.

Of men like Siriporn, it is customary to say: "Born under a lucky star." And this was the absolute truth; he wasn't given that name for nothing. On the day of his birth, not only did the stars shine brighter, but, it is said, the gods themselves bestowed their blessing upon him. The King himself, however, did not wait for manna from heaven. He studied and trained diligently. As a result, he became an exceptional diplomat, a brilliant military commander, and a just ruler, respected and loved by his people.

The grace of the gods alone is not enough to become a ruler—such was Siriporn's belief. However, it is enough to be granted a chance at happiness. But more on that later.
