Volume 12: Aftermath and New Shadows
The battlefield lay in ruins. Fires still burned along shattered plains, but the Void Sovereign was gone, sealed within the Gate of Shattered Eternity. Human and demon soldiers alike stared in awe at Elias and Azeryn, the marks of king and queen blazing in the fading light.
Azeryn helped Elias steady himself. "You've done more than survive… Elias. You've changed everything."
Elias shook his head, still feeling the strain of wielding the Crown of Realms. "We did it together. Without the armies, without your power guiding me… I wouldn't have made it."
Rydell approached, his armor scorched, his eyes wary. "I… underestimated you, Elias. I thought humans and demons could never unite. You proved me wrong."
Azeryn's voice cut through the tension. "The war isn't over. Both realms are fractured. If we don't act quickly, the chaos will tear everything apart."
Elias glanced at the horizon. Human and demon camps were scattered, injured, and demoralized. "We start by rebuilding. But we need more than armies—we need trust. Between humans and demons, and between us."

A Royal Decree
Azeryn raised her voice, her aura flaring. "Let this day be remembered! The Demon Queen and the Human King declare an alliance! Together, we will rebuild, protect, and ensure the survival of both realms!"
Soldiers murmured, then cheered. Humans looked at demons, then at each other, slowly realizing the truth: if Elias and Azeryn could unite, so could they.
Elias smiled at Azeryn. "Looks like we're not just partners in battle anymore."
Azeryn tilted her head, a faint smile touching her lips. "No… we're partners in everything."

But even as they celebrated, a chill ran across the battlefield. From a distant rift, a faint shadow slithered—a remnant of the Void Sovereign. Its eyes glimmered with malice.
"This is not over…" the voice hissed, barely audible over the cheers.
Elias's hand instinctively went to Azeryn's. "Whatever comes… we face it together."
Azeryn's golden eyes blazed. "Together," she echoed, wings spreading wide.
And so began a new era—for demons, humans, and the couple whose bond had changed both realms forever.
