Chapter 3
The lady was just not going to believe he didn't notice she almost called out his name earlier, she will have felt insulted if he didn't even bother to give himself into his act, if at all he was just acting.
She knew he was dangerous, she didn't want to do this but she wasn't left with much of a choice. Someone had to play the bait and it turned out to be her.
She had to look convincing, he seemed hundred percent into his flirts but you never know what you'll say that will snap him into reality and she'll end there, so uselessly.

He cut her, he chuckled but she was quick to refuse taking him aback. He narrowed his eyes on her, now he was intrigued she didn't … then she said she overheard them when they were talking in the parking.
You're not stalking me, I believe you. Think what you want. Well…ha ha….come with me.
She threw a quick glance at the place where the shady guy had dissipated to earlier and his grip on her wrist. She reluctantly followed him.
After making a few steps she became nervous and pulled back. She quickly asked where he was taking her to. He replied that they were going to a nicer place, he assured her that she will enjoy the place.
Can we go now? Tsk. Why should I follow you anywhere? You don't even know me and I don't know you either. You know my name. Is it even necessary to deepen things? Stop sounding like we are getting married because we are not.

Berry-Anne frowned, she didn't want to but how could she help it with this jerk in front of her. She was with the kids recounting how annoying their father could be when she heard a knock at the door.
She went down to open wondering why he didn't just enter. The door opened revealing her stunning face to that stunning man demon. He was plainly beautiful but he disgusted her despite his physique.
Him fair, black hair and black orbs contrasting her bronze skin, brown hair and brown orbs.
She pushed the door to shut it on him but he forced it open.
Berry, Berry wait! Let me in okay, we have to talk. You ! what do you want from me?! Berry I don't know you mister. So if you don't leave my house this minute I'll call the cobs.
He scrutinised her stance and expressions, he wanted to test her resolve. He moved closer a step at a time not breaking eye contact.
At first she just stood on the spot thinking he will pause but he didn't pause. All sorts of wild thoughts flooded her mind . she yelled at him not to come closer as she also took measured steps backward.
You can't call cobs on me, Berry-Anne Mechane.
He was just too close as he whispered those words to her fear stricken mass. His hands began to wander on her bare skin from hear collar bone down towards her wrist making her regret ever wearing a sleeveless dress that day.

He asked as he continued his assault. Her mind just screamed do something but she couldn't move. She had heard of people being raped in their own houses and her thought was "is that even possible" and now she's next in line.
Let me go, stay away from me, get off me…
She pushed him away with her trembling hands unsuccessfully. Then out of the blue, completely confusing her, he stopped. She didn't expect him to stop without her begging him or using violence but he did. Her heart was still crazy and her body trembling but she wanted to run away if he could just take a step backward.
He moved … and his lips… crashed on her neck. He was pinning both her hands on the wall. She screamed so loudly that the kids ran downstairs barking. They pulled him off her to the floor. They had their fore limbs on him as they grunted angrily.
Berry had fallen because the fear had made her knees weak. She crawled towards the phone and dialled Nathan's number. It didn't go through. She tried again and again until she felt a sharp pain on her scalp. The beautiful guy had caught her by the hair. 'how long will you keep pretending you don't know me?'
He asked as he tightened his grip on her hair. The kid's will pull him off her and the next second he will be in control again. Their strength didn't seem to be a match.
Leave her alone!
Some one suddenly shouted and the beautiful guy suddenly dropped her and stood straight. He made a few back steps as he slowly became aware of the gravity of what he had done. The lady that just entered ran towards Berry and kneeled before her. The kids just barked.
She asked the Berry if she was ok. She couldn't help but glance at the beautiful guy a few times trying to decipher why his face seemed so familiar.
Ssh, don't cry anymore. I'm here now. It's over.
She tried to sooth the lady's heart as they hugged each other. She was beginning to cy as well seeing how bad a state Berry was in.
She pulled out her phone to call the police but the guy that was sitting at the corner mourning his own stupidity suddenly appeared before them and seized her phone. He glanced at the screen and his face became darker.
She subconsciously swallowed feeling an unease creeping beneath her skin as he glared daggers at her.
