It was a cool summer morning, with the birds chirping and the kids playing in the town square. What a beautiful morning, the maid thought as she looked through the window. Then—
Thud.
Hearing the sound, the maid immediately rushed to the room. She swung the door open, broom in hand, and shouted,
"Put your hands where I can see them!"
Leon, startled, quickly raised his hands.
After a few seconds, the maid realized what had happened. She immediately ran to Leon, picked him up, and started shaking him while asking if he was hurt.
After that hectic morning leon got dressed and walked down the hallway to get to the dining room while walking he wondered what's today's breakfast
"Maybe some crepe's,meat stew or bread stew"
But to his horror when he got to the dinning table he saw that maids prepared porridge on the advent if his father,
Leon now not leaving or eating until he gets an answer.
So he marched to the head butler and asked "WHYS TODAYS BREAKFAST PORRIDGE "
The butler replied"WELL SIR Today's the annual training hunt where you and his master go to the forest to get some much needed training"
After hearing this reply Leon gritted his teeth and sat down on the dinning table and ate his food
After breakfast he packed the necessary things he needed to survive this training hunt but before leaving he went to the library and took the secrets of magic volume:3
[Forest]
After a long journey, they finally reached the edge of the forest. With steady breaths and brave steps, Leon and Lorraine entered its dim green depths, moving toward the center where sunlight barely touched the ground.
Hours passed as they walked beneath towering trees and whispering leaves. When they finally reached the heart of the forest, they decided to set up camp.
"Leon, get some wood," Lorraine said while tightening his gloves. "I'll go get our dinner."
Without waiting for a reply, he disappeared into the trees with calm, confident strides.
Leon nodded, grabbed Windtier, and—because he was still a child at heart—raised it dramatically above his head.
"HYAA!"
A flurry of slashes flashed through the clearing. Trees toppled in clean slices, logs dropping around him like rain.
"…Oops."
Still, wood was wood.
He sighed and started gathering the fallen logs. But being only five years old, each piece was heavy, and he could barely drag them one at a time. It took him hours to finish.
By the time he stacked the last piece of wood, the sky had darkened.
"…Father still isn't back."
A chill ran down Leon's spine. Lorraine'd never take this long. Not for hunting. Not for anything.
Leon tightened his grip on Windtier and took a step toward the shadowy path his father had gone down.
"Please be okay…"
He swallowed his fear and walked into the forest to look for him.
Leon pushed deeper into the forest, each step quieter and more careful than the last. His small hands tightened around Windtier's hilt as the shadows thickened.
Then
BOOOOM!!
A violent explosion shook the entire forest. Birds scattered from the treetops, branches snapped, and the ground trembled beneath his feet.
After hearing this Leon ran in the direction of the sound he kept running and running until he had no stamina to run.
While waiting to catch his breath a chill runs down his spin his eyes stretched wide, trembling as the air grew heavy. The murderous aura pressed against their skin, forcing the shock right into his
The aura only made him panic more. He forced himself to stand and moved toward its source.
After pushing through the trees, the sight before him froze him in horror.
A giant one-eyed cyclops,its teeth as sharp as diamonds and its fists bigger than his head,was clashing with his father.
Clang! Cling! Shang! Shing!
Lorraine's sword rang out against the beast's blows, each strike exploding through the clearing.
He charges the sword with mana and strikes the beasts leg
SPLAT!
The beasts leg gets chopped off clean blood splatters out of it's leg the beast shrieks in pain screaming in anger and charges his hand mana swirls around it's fist denser than the fog setting around them
And hits ground with force LORRAINE feels This and Jumps up to dodge the attack. The beasts fist hit the ground and destroys it completely
Leon after witnessing this horrific sight grabbed his sword to help his father but
Lorraine shouts "GET BACK NOW !" After heeding his warning Leon stepped back
Lorraine realises he has to finish this and so he lands on the ground. Put his leg back and puts his right leg forward keeps his sword near his hips and starts swirling the mana around his sword and shouts "DRAGON RUSH" and ignites toward the cyclops and
"Shing"
The cyclops chest bleeds out and slowly starts cracking the cyclops is confused and looks left and sees the him walking behind him then the his chest slides off and hits the ground then the remaining half falls to the ground after this battle
Lorraine slowly walked towards his son but since he did not have enough stamina and fell down from exhaustation.
Leon runs to his father,
When Lorraine woke up he was in his bed the sunlight leaking through the window and hit his face. He woke up instantly and got on his chest and saw his son near his bed face plummeted in to his bed.
After seeing this he cracks a smile and grabbed him and hugged him which woke up Leon and he asked "what is it father" and he put down him and said " nothing son"
