My Girlfriend Is Stronger Than the Demon Lord – Volume 13 (Chapter 13)
By now, life in the demon realm had settled into a peculiar rhythm: daily chaos sprinkled with moments of unexpected normalcy. Aria had officially claimed her throne, but that didn't stop demons from constantly testing boundaries.
This morning, I found her in the gardens—if you could call a garden of fire-resistant plants and lava fountains a garden—practicing her magic.
"Eren," she said, not looking up, "today I need your advice."
I blinked. "Advice? About ruling?"
"No… about dating while being the Demon Lord." She glanced at me, expression serious. "I want to make time for us… but there's always some warlord, emissary, or troublemaker interrupting."
I smiled nervously. "Uh… maybe just punch the interruptions?"
Aria rolled her eyes. "Yes, that always works. But I also want some peace."
Before we could continue, a commotion erupted near the castle gates. A massive shadow, bigger than any demon I had seen, descended from the sky.
Aria frowned. "Shadow Clan…"
The shadow solidified into a towering demon general, black armor glowing with dark energy. "Battle Goddess," he growled, "your reign ends today!"
Aria sighed. "Really? Couldn't you have waited until after tea?"
Before I could react, she leapt forward, aura blazing, her staff slicing through the air. The ground trembled under her power.
The Shadow General swung his enormous sword, shattering pillars with ease—but Aria caught it between her hands. "Impressive," she said. "But not enough."
With a flick of her wrist, a burst of energy lifted him into the air and pinned him gently against the sky. Not harmed. Just… firmly restrained.
I blinked. "She's… just holding him up."
Aria turned to me, cheeks faintly pink. "Eren… are you proud of me?"
I swallowed hard. "Proud? You just casually overpowered a general from the Shadow Clan… again."
She giggled softly. "It's fine. Let's just… enjoy breakfast afterward?"
Even as the entire demon realm watched in awe, I realized something: Aria could defeat anyone, control entire armies, and rule the realm… and yet she still wanted a normal life.
And somehow, I was going to help her have it.
