Autumn's POV :
was dazed as I sat there in complete embarrassment and shock only until Scarlet broke the ice .
"I have been watching and I noticed something " Scarlet mutters .
"What is it that you noticed suddenly " I said.
" Uhmmm... welllll... That guy beside you has been staring at you constantly .... I guess he wants to say something to you "She whispers .
" Ohhhh but ... where ??
I totally forgot there was someone else who fell with me ... I should check on him " I said as I turned around to look at the guy .
I saw a handsome face with a Scar on his forhead ... who raised his arm as he spoke , waving at Me.
" Oh!! Hello I am Ryan . The guy who fell for you "
" Oh !! He is good at flirting with girls huh !! "Scarlet whispers .
"Don't say anything scarlet..... It was all my fault that he fell off the stairs " I replied in a whisper.
" Hello ! There I am Autumn .... Autumn Westfood . A freshmen in this university . By the way , Are you alright . I am so sorry , i am just so clumsy . The scar on your forehead looks not soo good ." I said .
" Oh its OK...it's alright to be clumsy sometimes but be carefully next time.... others may not fall for you " he exclaimed.
"Oh you are good at flirting with girls...huh??"I teased.
" Oh and you are good at teasing . Anyways , I dozed off for how long ??"he blurted.
" Oh !! Not long .....just about a few hours . Uhhhhh ... 5 or 6 hours and before u ask 'what is the time' I will tell you already . It is 4:00 pm "Scarlet responded.
"Oh !! Shit .... I dozed off for that long .It is unexpectable . My basketball match is due today at 4:30 pm . I guess I should get going before my team criticizes me . BYEEEEE:( MY LADIESSSS) !!"He gasped.
And then he got out of the clinic bed . Took his belonging and sped past the hallway as fast as he could .
" YOOO!! That was fast . I guess he really was in rush . However, I sensed something weird about him " Scarlet whispered.
" Ahh !! Not again . You have been suspicious of him for A while now. Can you please stop it . He was such a kind and polite boy . I mean even after he fell from the stairs because of me , he didn't say a single word to me. Can you believe it ??" I snapped.
" Hey!!Calm down alright . I don't mean it that way . Don't be like that now . I am just a little worried when he didn't say anything even when he fell and hit his head hard . He was literally oozing blood out of his nose and he fell unconscious right after and he still doesn't blame you and is flirting with you instead. " she responds.
" I know but he was just being kind . He was just behaving like a gentlemen he is . He knows that I didn't do that intentionally and that's why he responded that way. So now can you please stop feeling weird and can we go back now . I need to meet the teachers and ask them about the agenda of the day and the things I missed . " I reasoned.
" Oh !! alright . Let's go ." Scarlet said helplessly.
" Ok let's goooooo. I am full of energy now . This is amazing " I exclaimed.
I jump up from the bed .
" Ouch!!ouch!! Ouch !! That hurts " I groaned .
"Hey ! You have not yet recovered. Can you please keep your enthusiasm under control. You have yet to survive the whole day . Also can you please stop and go back home and have some rest . I asked for leave on your behalf But not for you to go back and study but to rest at home . So hurry up . I will drop you off at your house . Alright . Lettttsss goooo. Wait... but before that let me grab that wheel chair since you are not even able to stand properly . " she muttered.
Scarlet took the wheel chair kept at the corner of the clinic and helped me into it . Then we left the clinic and informed the nurse.
We headed straight towards the parking area towards Scarlets car.
It was a car in red , shining brightly and polished . One could even use it as a mirror . Hehe .
" Hey !! So you have a car too . That's amazing huh !! " I exclaimed.
" Yeah !! I was saving up the money I won in contests you know and Finally was able to buy this car. " She replied
"Oh !! I see . You are a genius ...HUH!! " I said.
Scarlet helped me into her car and we drove off .
" Hey !! Scarlet .... Do you mind if we buy some food on our way. We don't have to get off the car . A McDonald's drive - in works just fine for me . " I said.
" You are all injured and bruised and still have an appetite to eat . You are funny." She Said
" Well after falling from all those stairs . It made me hungry you know . Also One should always enjoy the joys of life . For me it is food and ofcourse designing " I replied .
" Alright, then but why is it junk food . Why dont you eat something healthy . " She said , defeated.
" Hehe !! I will order diet coke and it is healthy " I replied .
Luckily , There was a store nearby and not many cars today . So , our turn came faster than ever . I think customers these days just order takeouts. So boring.
We took our orders and drove off . Now , to my house ofcourse .
" So mine are two burgers and two diet cokes . I mean I am on a diet you know. One should always maintain a healthy lifestyle but Wait why are you only having fries and a cola . Also, those are mine. ( I took them back from her )
Why didn't you order more . " I said concerned.
" Well... I was not so hungry that's why I didn't order anything for myself and thought I would accompany you in finishing all this . " She Said excitedly .
" No. That's mine. You should have ordered something for yourself . You would be blessed by the GOOD OF FOOD . Also , He doesn't allow sharing food . " I blabbered.
" Hey !! But sharing is caring . I was the one who bought you all those. You should share your food with your sweet friend right . " Scarlet said as she snatched the fries and coke back from my hands and started eating .
" Hey !! You can't do that"
" Yes I can"
"No you can 't "
In the end she won and I lost . Scarlet really is strong but whatever , I enjoyed the bickering really after all that I went through on my first day . I mean now I know that my life here is going to be chaotic. For the rest of the ride we remained silent.
I looked out the window thinking all that . The cold breeze was soothing and calm . I lost track of time and in the blink of an eye we were my the gate of my house . HOME SWEET HOME IN THE END.
I was just about to get off the car but realization hit me hard . I remembered not being able to walk properly and had to use a wheel chair . The impact of the fall was hard.
Scarlet knew about it and was taking out the wheel chair from the trunk .
She then helped me into it .
" Hey !! Autumn ..... I know that it was just our first day knowing each other but I felt as if we knew each other for ages . It's going to be an amazing year with you ... This reminds me ..... I forgot to ask you for your number because of all that chaos . Can you give me your number now . " She stated as se gave me her mobile phone .
I quickly put In my number on her phone and gave it back to her . She then helped me into the house which was empty ofcourse since my parents were not home because of work .
We quickly bid each other fairwell.
" I will pick you up tomorrow since you can not walk " She muttered as she left the house .
Well ofcourse I asked her to stay , I am a good friend alright but she said that she was busy with something else today and left .
As I was struggling to movement wheel chair a maid came to me to help me to my room .
As we were heading towards my room .... I suddenly heard the shuddwring of a glass vase downstairs .
I was Scared !!!
What happened ?? There was no one at home except for the maids . So why ??
