The woman walked steadily through the last of the night's darkness. In her arms, the little girl curled up, her tiny fingers still clutching the red rose as if it were her only lifeline.

The woman looked down, brushing the top of the child's head with heartbreaking tenderness. "Sleep well, Sweetheart. Never remember this night again. Let this darkness be buried, and let me erase the traces of your nightmare," she whispered softly, her voice almost lost to the wind.

Her steps came to a halt right before the towering iron gates of a grand mansionโ€”imposing under the faint light. This was where the "treasure" was meant to be.

The Next Morning...

Dawn broke proudly. Sunlight streamed through the gaps in the pink-hued curtains of the bedroom, reflecting off a neat row of dolls. Birds chirped melodiously, as if celebrating the return of the household's very soul.

On her soft bed, the little girl began to stir. Her eyelids fluttered, trying to adjust to the blinding light. Her consciousness slowly came back. One second... two seconds... three seconds...

"WAAAAH! MOMMY!"

The scream thundered through the morning stillnessโ€”loud enough to stop anyone's heart cold.

CRASH! THUD! BANG!

In seconds, the quiet mansion turned into chaos. Pandemonium erupted. For this family, that cry was a level-one disaster alarm. Their "diamond," the center of their universe, was crying!

The bedroom door was thrown open with enough force to shatter mahogany. But in their overwhelming panic, coordination completely collapsed. The result? A human pile-up right on the threshold.

"Ouch! It hurts, man! I think my back's broken, goodness!" groaned an unlucky young man, sprawled at the bottom as the foundation of this impromptu "human pyramid."

Above him, his older sibling pressed down mercilessly, and worst of allโ€”the usually graceful middle-aged mother was now stuck on top after tumbling over in her rush.

Meanwhile, the father stood frozen behind them, staring at the mess with a straight faceโ€”though his eyes betrayed equal worry.

"Mommy wake up, please! Your child is about to die crushed under life's burdens!" dramatized the youngest son at the bottom, his voice already strained from being pinned to the floor.

"Tch! Be patient, Mommy's trying to get up! Ugh, Daddy! Help me alreadyโ€”don't just stand there like a statue!" the mother snapped, wriggling atop her pile of children.

Finally, the father moved, letting out a long sigh before lifting his wife with one hand, then shooting a sharp look at his eldest son still pressing down on his brother. "Get up now. Do you want to flatten your little brother?"

Amidst this comedic chaos, the little girl on the bed could only blink, still clutching the red roseโ€”which somehow remained fresh and real.
