Chapter 4 - Chapter 2

Morning sunlight slipped through the curtains of Alexandar's bedroom, casting pale gold across the sheets. Alex slowly opened his eyes, feeling far more rested than he had in weeks. His mind felt sharper, clearer—almost brighter.

He sat up, took a breath, and summoned the familiar transparent window.

"System. Open my status panel."

A soft chime echoed, and the panel appeared.

Alex blinked at the glowing text, impressed.

"Magic power… Beginner. Not bad for just one night," he murmured.

His gaze moved down.

Ope-Ope no Mi — Intermediate.Ope-Ope Domain — Beginner.

"That must be from eating the fruit."He flexed his fingers, feeling a new, faint sense—like he could manipulate space if he simply willed it.

Space affinity. Gate of Babylon. Two ultimate skills.

Alex couldn't stop a small, proud smile from forming.

"Not bad… not bad at all."

A Reassuring System

A question nagged at him.

"System… about the House of Ashwood identity… Will there be problems?"

—Host, rest assured. The system has ensured no external error or contradiction will occur. All records have been seamlessly integrated.

Alex let out a relieved breath.

"Good."

He went to take a bath, the warm water easing his thoughts. Afterward, he ordered breakfast from the nearest high-end restaurant. Soon, he was comfortably seated on a sofa in the mansion's hall with a small feast spread before him.

As he ate, another thought surfaced.

"If I summon characters… will they just appear out of thin air? That'll be suspicious."

—Host, the system will create identities and backgrounds for summoned characters. No issues will arise.

Alex nodded with relief.

"Alright then. Use Summon Character ×5."

The Five Summons

A pillar of light burst open in the center of the hall—five in total, each glowing with different colors. Alex shielded his eyes.

A moment later…

He felt his heart stop.

Standing before him were five women from his favorite games and anime—each more stunning in reality than any illustration could capture.

Grayfia Lucifuge — silver-haired, elegant maid uniform, calm crimson eyes.Ningguang — jade eyes, white hair, regal beauty, dressed in exquisite Liyue silks.Velgrynd — fiery red hair, draconic pressure hidden beneath a graceful form.Velzard — icy blue hair, cold-time-slowing aura, serene and flawless.Testarossa — crimson eyes, white-haired demoness, elegant and dangerous.

Alex's jaw dropped.

"I… I summoned them?"

He had expected maybe warriors. Maybe random characters. But these five were—

His favorites.

He felt a lump form in his throat.

"This… this is insane…"

But something stranger was happening to the summons themselves.

Their faces flushed, their hearts pounded, their eyes softened as they looked at the boy before them—long silver hair, bright blue eyes, small roselike lips.

Adorable. Handsome. Radiating a strange purity and elegance.

A future prince. A future king.

He's beautiful…He's breathtaking…I must protect him.I want him to smile at me…So cute… Gods, he's too cute…

None of them said it, but every one of them thought the same thing.

Alex, meanwhile, tilted his head in confusion.

"Um… hello?"

The Blessing Link

Before any of the summons could respond, a voice rang in Alex's head.

Alex blinked. "Raphael?"

"Oh? That's—"

Suddenly, his vision blurred.

His body went limp.

"—huh?"

He collapsed.

"MASTER!"

Five voices cried out as they rushed forward—Grayfia catching him first. Panic spread through the group like wildfire.

"Why is he unconscious?!"

"Is he hurt?!"

"Did something go wrong with the summon?!"

Before they could spiral further, Raphael's calm, divine voice echoed inside their minds as well.

The five froze.

The room went silent.

The fear in their expressions slowly eased—but their devotion deepened.

An eternal bond.

A shared life.

A master who trusted them enough to summon them.

They looked down at Alex, sleeping peacefully in Grayfia's arms, and their hearts beat even faster.

He wasn't just their master. He was now someone irreplaceable.
