Keaton walked through the woods which he had been been doing for the last 4 hours. So far he had seen no flame chickens which were the most populated thing in these woods. Suddenly there was a crack from behind a tree. "Who's there?" Keaton asked as the sound got closer to him. Then the thing let out a low howling sound. 'Vide is there any secret skill that can help me here' Keaton asked Vide.
"No," Vide said "but look to your left." Keaton looked to his left like Vide said. The low howling sound came from a wolf that just stepped from the shadows. The wolf's fur was a shiny black and very neat for a wild wolf. Keaton slowly bent down to the wolf's level. "Why hasn't the wolves mutated into Beasts like the Flamo Claw?" Keaton asked himself, "Whatever its a good thing." Keaton stood back up and continued walking. "I'm sure I'm heading to the Beast mountain?" He said out loud.
"Keaton there is trouble near you," Vide told Keaton.
'where and what?' Keaton asked.
"Beasts attacking a group of miners," Vide replied. "Also the mine is underneath you."
"Well now that's not good I can void step there," Keaton said to himself. 'Unless, Vide can you show me a picture of the place?'
"Yes I can just give me a minute," she replied.
Keaton turned to the wolf again. "If you just stay here I might be able to return for you," Keaton told the wolf.
"Got a picture," Vide said. "It's in your hand." Keaton looked down at his hand and just like Vide said there was a picture in it. It was a dimly light cave with what seemed to be traces of gold and a energy that wasn't one anyone knew about. "Alright, lets see if this works," Keaton said. "Void Step." His body began to be covered by the void again. It started with his legs then his arms until it reached his head. Just before it finished Keaton looked back and saw the wolf smiling.
Only seconds later, Keaton reappeared in the dimly light cave. 'Okay, Vide which way do I go?' Keaton asked Vide but she didn't respond. "Fine I'll just have to follow this energy." Keaton followed the energy down to the right part of the mine. The path went on for about 10 minutes until Keaton realised he he could have just used void step. But he was already at the place. A Beast was in the cave and was attacking the miners. "What happened here!" Keaton shouted.
One of the miners shouted back saying, "we were just mining until a mole popped out of the ground and turned into that thing."
"Alright," Keaton said. "Lets see if I can use my powers without Vide helping." Keaton ran forward and the void flared. The void staff appeared in his hand, and the shield materialized on his left arm. Suddenly, a made of rocks burst from the ground straight at Keaton's left side. Luckily for him the shield had formed right were the drill would of hit. "For crying out loud," Keaton shouted the impact sending him half way across the room. "That has some power behind it, this Beast is not weak. Guess I've got to be careful." Keaton looked back at the Beast. It had lifted a boulder up and had thrown it towards the miners. Keaton didn't even have time to think his body just moved. There was the sound of what seemed to be a chain snapping as Keaton's body bolted towards the path of the boulder. Keaton's speed had increased twofold. The void flared again and it took over again. The Beast tried use the same drill attack on Keaton again but he dodged it. 'skill unlocked'. One of the miners looked up at Keaton. "Was that guy's eyes always been purple?" They said, "No they weren't." Keaton got in-between of the miners and the boulder and lifted his hand. "New skill activation: Void Spike," Keaton said his voice not like it was before. A purple circles filled with letters of the void appeared in a line straight towards the boulder. Then in synce each circle opened with a dark swirlling purple. Multiple versions of the rock drill shot up but more corrupte. Void Spikes. The boulder shattered when one of them hit it. The beast stepped in it's tracks. Even the miners was shocked. But then the beast swung at Keaton hitting him back towards the miners. One of the miners brought his arms up as if trying to stop Keaton from hit them. Suddenly sparks of energy appeared and materialised into a huge yellow barrier. Keaton got stopped by the barrier but the part he had touched started smoking blackish purple smoke the same colour as the void staff. 'New Skill Unlock'. Keaton looked up and disappeared. Then he reappeared right in front of the beast. It swung at him again but this time it didn't land. A purple barrier blocked the attack. The beast froze for just a second. "Void spikes," Keaton said calmly. The purple and black spike rose again going after the beast this time. But the beast dodged just in time. Before Keaton could move the beast used it's drill attack on the cave roof making it collapse onto Keaton. The rocks crushed Keaton onto the floor. But he wasn't done. His fingers moved. His index and middle fingers pointed up with his thumb behind them about ten centimeters away. His ring and little finger pressed against his palm. 'Emergency void summon' Vide's voice appeared.
