" You might have discovered my ability but how are you gonna counter it for instance ", Chameleon said as he swung his tail and hit James pushing him away at a great distance. James put his guard up and avoided damage to his body. " Seems like I underestimated you ", Chameleon said as he disappeared again. " This guy is going to be a pain in the butt", James said as he stood up. Chameleon started to speak in almost every direction whilst hiding his presence, " This is how it works I am able to hit and see you but you can't it's like as if I don't exist but am able to affect other entities hahahaha ". The monster then showed himself and charged at Sakura with immense speed with its claws out which were ready to dissect , Sakura dodged the first strike that aimed at hee head then Chameleon disappeared again and struck Sakura at her leg but suddenly Chameleon suddenly and quickly saw that Sakura had already healed the wound. James wasn't fast enough to see what had happened in his eyes it was as if Sakura was never struck at all. Chameleon then improvised and struck his hand through Sakura's heart area. " SAKURAAAA NOOOO", James screamed as he saw Sakura bleed excessively. Chameleon put on a serious face and looked at James then said " I told you before , your fate was decided the moment you came to this place ". " Chameleon then took out his hand and slowly came towards James , he increased the size of his claws , James was now not sure of himself in his mind all plans were effortless attempts for someone he started to look up to was dead. " SMITH", Sakura shouted as she stood up, " I told you calm yourself you're a Nexus member now remember ". James got emotional and was relived meanwhile Chameleon on the other hand was now confused about how Sakura had healed from that huge wound. " Hey lizard dude why won't you try hiding your presence ", Sakura shouted at Chameleon. " DONT GET SOO CO...", suddenly Chameleon started to bleed from his eyes ears nose and mouth. "What is happening what did you do to me you bastard " , Chameleon asked as he started falling to the ground. " Two words MATTER MANIPULATION ", Sakura said as she waved her hair to the side, " Right now your body isn't functioning because I just mixed your cells with mine now then if we can't see or touch you from the outside what better way than to kill you from the inside, your body right now is being slowly ripped to shreds in the inside but for all the innocent lives you killed I'm gonna beat you to a pulp, JAMES let's go ", Sakura said as clenched hee fist. " You Bastards ", shouted Chameleon as he tried to go towards Sakura James quickly gave Chameleon a kick to the jaw, " Hey don't forget about me , I'm not weak you know ", James said as he went beside Sakura. Chameleon inlined his jaw to position with his body getting ripped to shades from the inside he then smirked and said " You're strong I'll give you that but however I'm much stronger. Chameleon then threw up some green like acid liquid which then started slowly melting the floor. " So his body can destroy unwanted cells in the inside through acids , Hmf well you can't except to win that easily , " Sakura said to herself as she smiled. The three of them faced each other and were prepared to go off in a fight to the death. " James keep up and follow my lead ", Sakura said. " Affirmative ", replied James.
"The battle intensified, and the air was filled with dust and debris as the two fighters collided. Sakura then created a ball of energy in her hand and threw it at him then Chameleon sidestepped it , his tail whipping around to knock her off balance. She stumbled and fell and the Chameleon was on her in an instant with his claws slashing at her. She then rolled away and rose to her feet and slammed her hands down and the ground beneath the lizard man turned to quicksand but the monster countered and sent a wave of sand towards Sakura , she held up her hands and the air around her shimmered with a protective force field. The sand and dust then bounced off it and she grinned. " You're gonna have to try a little bit harder Lizard man ",Sakura said as she mocked the Chameleon. She then made a sweeping motion and the the ground beneath Chameleon rippled like water sending him tumbling. He growled and scrabbled to get his footing , but Sakura was relentless.
James watched the battle all this time but he then decided to enter the fray. " TIME TO COOK ".
James then raised his hands and focused his power and created a swirling vortex of energy that whirled towards Chameleon that picked him up and threw him against the wall. Chameleon then roared in pain and focused his attention on James. He leapt towards hun with a snarl but James created an energy flow on his body that made his movement slow. Sakura watched the battle with a grim smile and said ," Yep the dude is strong ".
James then sent a bolt of energy towards Chameleon, but the Chameleon was fast and agile. He dodged the bolt and slashed at James with his claws , and left deep gashes in his arms. Sakura saw that the flow of the battle was going to change if she didn't interfere then she created a giant fist made of stone which was comparable to a block of titanium and she hurled it towards Chameleon and smashed it into him with a sickening crunch. Chameleon staggered but due to his tough skin he wasn't out of the fight yet. He then spit a ball of acid towards Sakura but just as he did so Sakura was thinking quickly , she then created a wave of energy towards James healing him from his wound then she turned to the acid ball and pressed her hand on it and it turned to flowers ," Matter Manipulation LOL ", she said as she mocked Chameleon. She then followed up with a blast of air that sends the Chameleon flying and he crashed onto a nearby wall, James saw the opportunity and didn't give the monster the time to rest he then lifted up the monster into the air ," Concentrate you can do this ",James said to himself as his eyes glowed blue and he created a giant energy fist and punched Chameleon down to the 8th floor which knocked him out cold and left a big hole on his body.
" We make a good team , " Sakura said as she smiled at James. James nod wincing as he clutched his fist ," No cap ". he said. James went back and just as they thought it was over the Chameleon slowly rose up and said " This is not over all your damages that you gave me will be healed , I'm going to turn you all to blood sausages". " Magnificent what a trait of healing you have even if crushed and left with an atom there is no doubt you will heal back but however what if you were turned to nothingness at the highest degree would you still come back ",Sakura said as she took off her gloves. " What are you talking about ?" , Chameleon asked confused.
The dust settled and then the hole on Chameleon then started to heal slowly as he growled in pain , " You think you can stop me it's far from over I'm gonna reap you to shreds ". Sakura watched grim faces as she rose her hands and a wave of energy flowed from her fingertips rippling towards the Chameleon. His blood stopped flowing then his body started to glow , " What are you doing to meee " , he said as his body was deemed immobile then a glow of energy started to circle all around his body and then his body was starting to get disintegrated ", Don't worry there is no healing from this ", Sakura said as she put her left hand in her pocket and squeezed air with her right then the Chameleon started to groan as all his matter was being erased even the blood stains that were on the ground till he was no more. " I call this move MAXIMUM DISINTEGRATION ", Sakura said as she waved her hair to the side. James had only to look in amazement of how powerful Sakura was. " At a closer look she is hot ", James said. " What ", Sakura said. " Oooh nothing ," " sheesh l spoke out loud ", James said to himself.
After that James continued with training for a span of 19 months and he became a true hero but there was an enemy who hadn't forgotten.
