Chapter 24 - The Dwarf Continent

The Dwarf Continent

A million miles below the Demon Continent—a distance so vast that Lin's past-life mind struggled to comprehend it—lay the continent of the dwarves.

The book described it with a different tone. Where the Demon Continent was portrayed with a mixture of fear and respect, the Dwarf Continent was described with something approaching envy.

They have metals, Lin read. Not just ordinary metals—veins of spirit steel, veins of mithril, veins of materials that do not exist anywhere else in the world. Their mountains are not made of stone; they are made of resources.

The geography reflected this abundance. The continent was full of deserts that contained precious minerals instead of sand. Mountains that grew taller as their richness increased. Caves that led not to emptiness, but to treasures.

And the dwarves themselves had cultivated this natural advantage to its fullest extent. They had more alchemist sovereigns than any other race eleven in total, compared to the demons' two. Their martial sovereigns numbered nine, bringing their total sovereign count to twenty.

But the numbers alone did not tell the full story.

The dwarves are the richest race of all, Lin read, his eyes tracing the characters with growing interest. They earn a huge revenue selling their artifacts at the martial summit of the Peace Continent. Their techniques are not designed for battle they are designed for creation. For refinement. For the slow, patient transformation of raw materials into treasures that others would kill to possess.

Lin thought about the implications. The dwarves had something that no other race had: economic power. They could fund wars. They could buy allies. They could make themselves indispensable to the other continents.

And as long as they remained indispensable, they would survive even if their martial strength was not the highest.

The rich do not need to fight, he thought. They simply need to make themselves too valuable to kill.

The Dwarf Continent had four major forces.

1.THE HEAVENLY ALCHEMIST UNION

The Heavenly Alchemist Union was exactly what it sounded like—an organization dedicated to the pursuit of alchemical perfection. They did not care about territory, about politics, about the petty squabbles of lesser powers. They cared about craft. About the purity of a pill. About the perfect refinement of a metal into a artifact.

2.THE HAMMER BUSING

The Hammer Busing Sect was a force of physical crafters, dwarves who valued the forge above all else. They created weapons, armor, and tools of such quality that other races would pay fortunes for a single piece.

3.CRAFTING THE PEAK VALLEY

The Crafting the Peak Valley was a more spiritual organization, focusing on the mystical aspects of creation. They believed that artifacts were not just tools, but extensions of the soul—and that a well-crafted artifact could elevate a cultivator's understanding.

4.THE TWENTY FOUR MYSTICAL ARTIFACT

finally, the Twenty-Four Mystical Artifact Valley was a collective of independent crafters, each pursuing their own Twenty four unique style. They were the artists of the dwarf world, valuing creativity over convention, inspiration over tradition.

Beneath these four major forces lay over three hundred smaller sects—a staggering number that spoke to the dwarves' obsession with creation.

Lin closed the book and sat in silence for a long moment.

He did not know what the humans had. He was one of them, yes—but he had been isolated for five years. He knew the cultivation realms. He knew his own peak. He knew the basics of the world's geography.

But he did not know his own race.

He flipped the next page , the elf continent -

And he began to read.
