Shinya reviewed the panel without visible reaction.

Numbers had finally crossed five digits.

Unit generation followed clear rules.

Materialization could not enhance his body directly. Effects had to be external, procedural, or circumstantial. Outcomes, not miracles.

Forging lineage outright was impossible.

Forging a path to lineage was permitted.

Unit accrual depended on belief induction. The stronger the subject. The deeper the emotional deviation. The greater the yield.

Genin-level targets produced negligible results.

Orochimaru did not.

Only thirty units were required to fabricate the sealed scroll. The seal itself accounted for most of the cost. Aging the material took one.

The remaining units produced a hollow vessel.

A shell.

Structurally flawless. Internally inert.

What Orochimaru believed to be an Ōtsutsuki corpse was only a framework.

The remaining units were spent over years. Step by step. Organ replacement. Cellular compatibility. Gradual reinforcement.

Not extraterrestrial Ōtsutsuki.

Lunar Ōtsutsuki.

A tolerable ceiling.

"No more," Shinya assessed. "Beyond this, the body collapses."

If the target had been Kaguya-tier lineage, rejection would have been immediate.

He had calibrated for Ōtsutsuki Toneri.

The highest purity line a human framework could survive.

Five percent was the result.

Enough.

More would come later.

Bloodline integration required stimulus. Pressure. Time.

And catalysts.

"There are two techniques," Shinya noted. "Both viable."

He stood from the bed and crossed into the adjacent room.

Morning arrived over Konoha.

Rain faded. Dew clung to the grass.

The Hyūga compound remained quiet. Etiquette enforced silence.

Then laughter broke it.

Loud. Unrestrained. Entirely inappropriate.

"HAHAHA! YOUTH WAITS FOR NO ONE!"

A Hyūga guard flinched.

Green flashed across the outer grounds.

A man ran past upside down. Wearing nothing but a green jumpsuit and conviction.

Might Guy.

Hyūga clan members watched with thinly veiled disdain.

"Vulgar," one muttered."Just like that branch-family failure," another added.

None stopped him.

Today was the Hyūga heir's birthday. Protocol overrode irritation.

"GOOD MORNING!" Guy shouted cheerfully, teeth shining.

He dusted himself off and strode inside as if welcomed.

Shinya observed from a distance.

Eyes calm.

Pulse steady.

Another piece on the board had arrived.
