After the signing, I went out, and I went to do some things at home, until I saw demons on the rooftops. I teleported up to the rooftop. I took on demon features and clenched my fists, gauntlets with a blade on the back of both. The demons saw me and were about to attack, but of course, I teleported before they could land a hit. I hit each demon, sending them in puffs of smoke back to Gwima. It didn't take long before I finished up with those demons. I cracked my knuckles as the gauntlets vanished. I teleported across the rooftops on my way home.
I know Rumi and the others will be facing demons later on. Soon enough, I made it home. The others weren't home, so I just went up to my room. My wall with my desk had a wall of locations and a string that connected them. The two pictures that were at the center were of Mom, Dad, and Rumi's twin. The rest were of possible hiding places or outcomes of their fate. I have been working on this for years. Mom, Dad, and little sis are out there, dead or alive. I want to know what happened that night.
"Mom, Sis," I said quietly, resting my hands on the table. "Why can't I find you two?"
I looked over everything on the wall again, aggravated and just tired. I fight demons and seek information on everything. I can't do this forever. I hope I find something soon.
