Ethan;
I don't think I've ever eaten anything that good in my entire life!!
I grin with the utmost satisfaction as I lean back in the chair, staring down at an empty plate before me.
I may have finished eating, but my mind is still basking in the memory of the meal.
Creamy, warm, and spiced just right.
The meals were comforting in a way that makes my chest feel loose and heavy at the same time.
I swallow and exhale slowly, as I look up at Anu.
"That," I say as I swallow what's left of the food in my mouth,
"...was criminally good."
Anu, who's sitting across from me, grins while licking her thumb and wiping it dramatically on a napkin.
"See?" She replies ever so playfully.
"I told you. Rich people's food hits different. It's like…" She continues with her wrist rolling in circles as she searches her mind for the right words.
"Money seasoning!" She finally says, and I can't help but laugh.
"I don't even want to think about how much that cost," I say.
