The credits have been rolling for almost two minutes, and I still haven't moved.
I stare at the television with my mouth slightly open as names I don't care about crawl up the screen.

Absolutely not.
There is no way I just wasted almost two hours of my life watching that woman make every wrong decision available to mankind, only for her to die five minutes before the movie ended.
Beside me, Zane reaches into the popcorn bowl sitting between us, digs around for a few seconds, then pauses when he finds nothing.
What a ridiculous excuse.
I take a step towards him, and I see panic bloom across his face.
"Your other clothes didn't fit?" I tease, and his face gets redder.
He hesitates as he tugs at the sleeve of the shirt.
"I—I was going to change before you got home. I just…lost track of time." He replies as he takes a nervous step back, and for reasons I can't quite explain… The words sting.
