CUT SCENE

Deep in a dark temple filled with debris, shattered rock littered the ground like broken teeth.
The air tasted of old blood.
A man stood at the center.
Eyes like black runes carved into the night.
A muscular chin framed by a thick, commanding mustache.
The kind of face that didn't ask for obedience; but fear.
Standing beside him was another figure, pale as moonlight on a corpse, half his life already borrowed by something deeper.
A torn robe hung from his bones; the hood covered most of his face, leaving only a mouth that looked like it had forgotten how to close.
Silence ruled.
But inside the silence, chaos screamed.
"So he has appeared," the mustached man said, voice low and terrible, the kind that makes stone crack just to listen.
His name: Eliniezer Phantom.
Ruler #4.
Keeper of the 312th floor.
The man who killed leviathan with his bear hands.
"Yes, my liege," the hooded one rasped, voice crooked, as if he would drop dead anytime soon. "He has made his appearance."
A laugh rumbled out of Eliniezer, slow, delighted, hungry.
"Hahahaha…
So it begins."
He lifted his gaze to the ceiling that wasn't there, only endless falling dark, and spoke to someone who wasn't in the room.
"I await your ascension, Jaeger."
Then the two of them unraveled.
Flesh to dust.
Dust to nothing.
The temple exhaled once,
and forgot they had ever stood there at all.
