Instinct drove it to defend with everything it had
to somehow withstand this terrifying move!

A faint grayish-white sheen of energy flashed across its body.

The two moves were unleashed back to back without the slightest pause. Mew used every defensive move it could.

rose by two stages in an instant!
And that still was not the end!
It straightened its body.
Its enormous frame stood upright inside the crater.
Its eyes closed.
One hand lifted.
Its consciousness and will soared upward, resonating through this stretch of the world and connecting with outer space.
Starlike light flickered across its body.
The cosmic power it drew down
raised Mew's defensive attributes by yet another level!
Immediately after that,
it stirred the surrounding energy again.
A red wall!
A green wall!
One after another, they rapidly appeared before it.

The two moves were layered and alternated,
forming a massive wall in front of Mew in the blink of an eye.
As if it still felt that this defense was not enough,
Mew once again forcibly stirred its own energy.

The move Barrier was released.
A nearly solid mass of tremendous energy
slowly formed a pink wall under Mew's control.

purple Dynamax energy suddenly surged into it.

let alone a Third-tier Legendary,
even a fully charged finishing move from a Second-tier Legendary
should not possibly be able to defeat it in a single blow!

space itself was scorched until it twisted and began to break apart.

From the moment WarGreymon had begun gathering energy to use the move,

Mew could only watch helplessly as that terrifying energy sphere
madly destroyed and shattered the towering Max Guard wall.
That massive defensive fortress, which had seemed so thick and so reassuring,
in front of the energy sphere,
was like a shell piled up out of eggs.
The moment light and heat touched it,
it melted!
In an instant,
that energy sphere broke through the final layer of defense
and struck Mew's body head-on!!
