Professor Boo spoke as he pointed at the medical pod in the room.

Professor Boo continued.
Team Dark's research had been far too reckless and impatient, and there were many hidden flaws because of it.
It was only thanks to Gardevoir's own toughness and exceptional talent that she had managed to survive and grow this far despite being born with such a genetic defect.

Gardevoir understood what Professor Boo meant and nodded.
But there was an obvious trace of worry and nervousness in her expression.
The laboratory environment made her involuntarily think of the scenes from Team Dark's underground laboratory.

Himeko gently placed her hand on Gardevoir's shoulder and whispered softly into her ear.
The warmth from her palm passed over.
Gardevoir turned back, looked at the smile on Himeko's face, and nodded firmly.

Taking a deep breath,
Gardevoir's gaze became resolute.
She stepped forward and, under Professor Boo's guidance, lay down inside the medical pod.
The hatch sealed shut.
Gardevoir closed her eyes, placed both hands over her abdomen, and adjusted her breathing.
At that moment,
she looked like a Sleeping Beauty from a fairy tale.
Elegant, noble, and heart-tuggingly delicate.
Professor Boo moved to the instrument beside it.
On the lit-up screen
was Gardevoir's physical condition.
Just as expected,
the genes inside her body were still in a state of disorder.
After the earlier battle in Wintergreen Forest and the ordeal of the underground cage,
the situation had become even more severe.
It was already beginning to show signs of collapse.
If she was not treated in time,

The sound made anyone listening feel their heart jump.

and looked toward Professor Boo.
Professor Boo's expression was grave as well.
"This is beyond what I expected!"
"The high-purity Mew genes are too strong. Gardevoir's current body and energy reserves are having trouble containing them!"
Professor Boo said sternly.
His mind raced, searching for a solution.
"Then what do we do?"
Himeko blurted out anxiously.
"The Mega Stone. That's the only thing we can rely on now!"
Professor Boo turned to Himeko as he spoke.
Himeko hurriedly took out the Mega Stone and handed it over.
The mechanical arm grabbed the Mega Stone
and extended deep into the curtain of pink energy, disappearing from sight.
The room fell completely silent, and the atmosphere was tense and heavy.
Himeko stared at Professor Boo's stern square face, catching every tiny change in his expression.
Meanwhile, Professor Boo kept his eyes fixed on the screen displaying Gardevoir's genetic condition.
He did not dare blink.
"It's done!"
A moment later,
Professor Boo let out a long breath.
The moment his words fell,
the pink energy inside the glass pod seemed to be pulled by a massive black hole, twisting into a vortex as it rapidly disappeared.
Gardevoir's figure
also became clearer and clearer before their eyes.
