Jay-Jay's POV
The hospital room felt a little less quiet now, mostly because it was packed with chaos — my kind of chaos.
C-in was bouncing on the chair at the foot of the bed like it was a trampoline. "Jay!
You won't believe it! I told everyone I thought you'd become a zombie when you
woke up!"
Aries smacked the back of his head gently. "She's barely awake for a week and you're
already calling her undead?"
"Technically," C-in said, grinning, "that means she survived. That's victory logic."
Angelo, my older cousin, leaned against the wall, arms crossed but smiling. "You two
haven't changed. Honestly, it's good to see all this noise again." His expression
softened when he looked at me. "You scared the life out of us, Jay."
I smiled weakly. "I'm fine now. Just—hungry."
Keifer groaned playfully. "Of course that's your first thought."
"Hey, I was asleep for seven weeks! I deserve a feast."
As if summoned by the word, my classmates from Section E piled in next, carrying too
many gift bags filled with snacks and drinks. Felix was the first to speak, flashing his
usual grin. "See? Told you she couldn't stay away from food forever."
Behind him were Edrix and Freya -they were carrying a fruit basket, while Freya rolled
her eyes. "He tried to eat half this before we got here."
Calix and Mica followed, holding takeout boxes. "We brought sushi," Mica said,
carefully setting it down. Calix nodded. "And her favorite — takoyaki. Don't ask how
long it took to find it."
Last came Eren, quiet as usual, but he handed me a milk tea with purple tapioca
pearls. "You used to order this every Friday. Felt right to bring one back."
"Aww, Eren, you're the real one," I said, grinning.
As everyone crowded around, joked, and argued over who got to feed me first, I
couldn't help but laugh until my stomach hurt — in the best way.
The rest of them were just teasing each other…
In the corner, Keifer stood a little apart, watching with a faint smile and tired eyes. I
caught his gaze and mouthed, I love you.
I mouthed I love you back, he was still not fully forgiving himself. But for now,
surrounded by my loud family, my wild friends, and food that smelled like home, I
knew we'd be okay.
