Chapter 94: The Thunder Gods' Struggle

Evil Thor and Good Thor clashed, with electricity filling the air. A slight misstep could result in being turned to ashes.

"With that weak demeanor, you are utterly unworthy of being called the God of Thunder!" Evil Thor charged at Good Thor, imbued with lightning.

Bang! Evil Thor stepped on air. A massive, spiderweb-like crack had formed where Good Thor had just been standing. Good Thor had reacted quickly, swinging Mjölnir to take flight and dodge Evil Thor's kick.

"Coward! Get down here!" Evil Thor roared at Good Thor, who was flying in the sky.

"Haha~ You can't fly!" Good Thor realized he had finally found a way to restrain Evil Thor.

"Can't fly?" Evil Thor chuckled. "I told you, I am Thor, the God of Thunder, not Thor, the God of Hammers!"

With a swish! and crackling electricity, Evil Thor soared into the air without relying on the hammer.

"Oh no!" Evil Thor grabbed Good Thor's red cape and forcefully dragged him down.

Evil Thor held Good Thor's cape with his left hand, put his right foot on Good Thor's chest, and prepared to strike him with his right hand.

"Looking at this handsome face, it's hard to follow through," Evil Thor said with self-admiration.

Good Thor immediately smiled upon hearing this. "Exactly, we look exactly alike."

"But you are so utterly nauseating," Evil Thor countered and punched.

Good Thor tilted his head, cleverly dodging Evil Thor's fist, and then raised Mjölnir. Boom! Good Thor slammed Evil Thor with the hammer, sending him flying into the sky.

"Getting hit by my own hammer—that feeling is truly unpleasant," Evil Thor said, twisting his body in the air to regain his footing. Now he finally knew what it felt like to be hit by his own hammer; it hurt a lot. No wonder his enemies were knocked down with a single blow from him.

"Let's fight more wholeheartedly." Evil Thor charged directly toward Good Thor.

Good Thor continuously retreated, using defense as his offense. After all, he really didn't want to fight, especially not against himself; it just felt strange.

Evil Thor, however, didn't care about such things. Now that his power as the God of Thunder had awakened, he no longer needed Good Thor's help and could do whatever he wanted.

"Where did these two Thors come from?" Fandral stared wide-eyed at the two Thors fighting. Their fight was on a completely different level from anything they had ever seen.

Sif offered a wry smile. "I'm not entirely sure myself."

"I think the Thor without the hammer is more like the old Thor's personality, though he seems a bit more volatile now," Hogun observed. The old Thor was just like that—daring and aggressive, completely unlike the timid, hesitant Thor holding the hammer.

"But that guy can lift Mjölnir," Volstagg argued, implying that only Thor, the God of Thunder, could wield the hammer.

"Regardless, we must take both Thors back," Sif told the Warriors Three. Once Allfather Odin woke up, everything would be revealed.

"I think the Thor without the hammer already wants to go back," Fandral noted.

Jane stepped forward and explained, "Actually, Thor was completely normal before. But last night, he chased a white tiger, and when I caught up to him later, he had turned into this. Now there's another Thor who suddenly appeared." Jane thought that maybe these Asgardians from the cosmos had heard of a white tiger.

"A white tiger?" The Warriors Three and Sif looked utterly confused.

"What happened here?" Coulson arrived and found the area in chaos. The man they had subdued earlier was now glowing with electricity, every move bringing thunder.

"Thief," Jane said, seeing Coulson, and immediately looked away. She had nothing to say to Coulson.

Erik stepped forward to explain the situation to Coulson.

"So, this is a story about a god who fell into the mortal world, regained his godly powers, and is now fighting on Earth?" Coulson muttered sarcastically.

"Listen, thief, I won't allow you to speak ill of Thor, and you had better not let Thor see you right now. With his current temper, you'll be zapped into a pulp," Jane warned. She wouldn't tolerate this "thief" speaking ill of Thor, and she was genuinely worried for Coulson; given the un-hammered Thor's temper, Coulson might really get killed.

"It's a shame we can't intervene," Fandral slammed his fist against a wall in frustration. This feeling of powerlessness was terrible.

Sif shrugged. "Let them fight for now. We'll decide what to do once they stop."

Rumble! Everyone jumped in surprise.

Evil Thor summoned a bolt of lightning from the dark clouds. Good Thor quickly raised Mjölnir high. The incoming lightning was entirely absorbed by the hammer. At the end of the day, they were both Thor, the God of Thunder, and neither's lightning could harm the other.

"Stop messing around, Thor. Loki is watching. Don't let him laugh at us," Good Thor cautiously raised a finger and called out to the sky.

Evil Thor finally halted his attack. Good Thor was right; he certainly didn't want that foolish Loki to mock him.

"Heimdall! What are you doing? Open the Bifrost immediately!" Evil Thor grew increasingly convinced that Heimdall was utterly incompetent.

Fandral and the others saw that Thor had finally stopped and rushed over to the two Thors.

"Thor, what exactly is going on with you two?" Sif asked first. This was just too strange.

Evil Thor quickly hatched a plan. This Good Thor is from the same source as me, so neither of us can defeat the other for now.

"Listen, Sif, I am Thor, Son of Odin, the God of Thunder. He is the fake one! Come, let's join forces and take him down," Evil Thor suggested.

Good Thor quickly waved his hand. "No, no, no, Sif, we are both Thor. Don't listen to his nonsense."

"How can you say that? We are both Thor, closer than brothers with Loki," Good Thor said sadly.

"Wait a moment. You just said that both of you are Thor?" Sif asked Good Thor on the left.

Good Thor nodded. "Yes, that's right."

"Don't listen to his rubbish. There is only one Thor, the God of Thunder, and that is me," Evil Thor said, raising his hand, which crackled with electricity.

"Uh..." Good Thor slowly raised Mjölnir and said, "You don't have the hammer."

"No! If there's electricity, it means he's the God of Thunder," Evil Thor insisted, looking menacingly.

Good Thor then pointed to a fallen utility pole nearby. "That thing also generates electricity."

"..." Evil Thor was silent for a moment before saying, "I'm going to kill you."

"!!!" Good Thor was at a loss for what to do. He was only speaking the truth!
