Ugggg, such a boring day
I yawned as I stood guard outside the CEO's office, I couldn't bother with the security even though I was one of the few things that kept this shitty boss of mine from dying by a stray bullet.
We own a small personal security detail company, tasked with private security of some of the most celebrated people in this great country of mine.
I couldn't help but sigh as I heard the faint sound of moaning coming from the office, moments turned into minutes, and once it hit fifteen, I felt something was off, cause of the time I spend around the office, I knew the little shit didn't have the stamina to go beyond fifteen.
*Knock knock*
"Boss?" I knocked, and questioned however I didnt get any answers, I felt something was off.
*Click*
Using the keycard I illegally acquired from the company so that I could sleep in the boss office when he isn't around, I slowly opened the door when the moaning sound intensified, connecting to the speaker.
'so it was a cover,wonder what the boss is doing ' I thought, though what I saw made me reel back in shock as I immediately called for back up by pressing the panic button.
Our so called boss was hovering mid air, his fingers cut off and screaming in pain as a man was looking at him with a sadistic grin.
"Last warning phin! Tell me where you have kept the 'jumper', or else"
*Ptui* I shot at him.
Though the bullet stopped a feet away from him, the man turned around, a scar going all the way from his eyes to the left of his mouth.
"You look hideous!" I snorted as I unloaded more bullets into him
"That wasn't very smart kid" he spoke, the bullets clattered to the ground harmlessly
"Tell me about it? It's not everyday I get to fight telekinetic enemies?!"
"Heh! Funny"
The man snapped his fingers as I was taken hold of me, and despite my futile efforts, I was sent flying, crashing through the windows as I started free falling to my death.
Feeling the ground closing in on me, I felt my life go by like a flash of light, I was but not even a cog in a machine, didn't mean a thing to anyone, I didn't leave my mark on the world, liver a mundane life.
" Sigh....what would I not give to have an Isekai like adventure, kinda like those guys that can hope between different worlds, gain powers through different means and gain friends, meanwhile I am a dead log with no friends and family..."

"The what and what now?" I thought as suddenly I felt myself fold,literally fold, the next thing I know, I am inside a basement, surrounded by a bunch of kids
"What the fuck!?" One of the kids, with fluffy and frizzy hair yelled as he struck me with a bat,which I caught ....is what should have happened, however I felt like my height, my strength and reflexes were.... wrong.
*Bang*
And I went to sleep right after.
