Chapter 58 - Chapter 58 Your Kindness Makes Me Kind Too

The chilling aura emanating from his words made the town mayor frown instantly.

The next second, Yin Xiu's figure rushed forward instantly, a cold light sliding in the dim room. With Yin Xiu's nimble figure, he arrived behind the town mayor in the blink of an eye. Light and shadow flashed, and blood instantly bloomed.

The mayor's head fell to the ground with a thud, covered in sticky blood, his expression still one of shock.

Yin Xiu turned around slowly, staring coldly at the town mayor on the ground, and said with a slight part of his lips, "If you want to fit me in, you'll probably have to prepare a bigger frame."

"Holy crap? He killed it in seconds?"

"A man who single-handedly defeated the final boss of the dungeon is bound to be annihilated."

"Haha, the boss in this beginner dungeon is trash. It's normal to get one-shotted. Apart from becoming a bit more gentle and health-conscious over the years, Yin Xiu hasn't declined at all."

"The monsters in the dungeon have suffered."

"As a local ghost, why am I a little excited to see Yin Xiumiao?"

"You're not normal. We suggest you go and cultivate under Yin Xiu's blade to ascend to immortality."

"You really want me to ascend to immortality, don't you!"

"Wait, Yin Xiu hasn't put his knife away yet."

"ah?"

As the viewers watched the scene unfold in the dimly lit room, Yin Xiu, after severing the mayor's neck, did not leave or put away his knife. Instead, he slowly strolled to a position a little further away from the mayor.

The next second, the mayor's head rolled on the ground. His headless body slowly squatted down, picked up his head, and put it back on his neck.

The mayor's smile grew increasingly arrogant and excited. He stared intently at the composed Yin Xiu, his voice escaping his throat with particular agitation, "As expected of the person I've chosen, you are indeed far superior to those newcomers. I've been in this instance for so long, and I've never encountered anyone who could cut off my head."

His gaze lingered on Yin Xiu, scrutinizing him. "Logically speaking, no one has discovered any dungeon items that can kill me yet, but your knife can wound me. That's quite unusual."

Yin Xiu slowly raised his hand, his palm tracing a white mark along the back of the blade. He smiled and said, "It's quite special, want to try it?"

The mayor's expression became dazed and confused when such light words came from the mouth of someone he was interested in, as if Yin Xiu was not there to kill him, but to invite him to do something ambiguous.

He licked his lips with a smile, his tone firm and resolute, "I will definitely make you my collectible! A one-of-a-kind collectible!"

As he spoke, his body, covered in bright red blood, began to twist and swell, the flesh of each limb rapidly hardening, and the surrounding picture frames began to shake, filled with fear.

Yin Xiu watched indifferently as his body grew larger and larger, becoming more like a wild beast. His once-recognizable face had become unrecognizable in the blink of an eye. He was panting heavily, drooling at him, his chest heaving as if he were extremely excited.

"Yin Xiu! My collection...!"

Yin Xiu didn't react much to his abnormality. He turned the knife in his hand and quickly moved it to the corner of the room. The mayor, who had turned into a monster, rushed out and pounced on him.

Several loud bangs echoed from inside the house, the walls dented by the force of the impacts, and debris flew everywhere.

Yin Xiu did not retaliate, but instead dodged and moved purposefully, forcing the town mayor to attack him. Even in the confined space, his movements remained agile.

This one-sided oppression made the mayor even more agitated and excited. His pupils were fixed on Yin Xiu's figure, his white shirt stained with bright red, his figure graceful and agile, swaying and dodging in front of him, like a snowflake that he could not grasp dancing in the cold.

"I'm going to make you mine!" he roared as he charged at Yin Xiu, trying desperately to grab him. The entire second floor was practically teetering on the verge of collapse from his impact.

"Is Yin Xiu just playing with him?"

"Give him the illusion that he can beat Yin Xiu, that it's just a game."

"He could easily kill the mayor if he wanted to, but I feel he has other motives."

"Never mind! Just dodging is so cool! A normal player would have been flattened by now! Only Yin Xiu can dodge so easily!"

"Go Xiu-ge!"

"...It's almost dawn now, there shouldn't be many players still online, but there are still so many comments, I suspect the comments are manipulated."

"you guess."

After the mayor angrily lunged at Yin Xiu several times but still failed to catch him, he gradually realized that something was wrong.

Even a normal player with some skill would be struggling to dodge, and after a while, he was already exhausted and panting. But Yin Xiu remained completely unresponsive, standing there indifferently, barely breathing, like a moving corpse.

"Are you really a normal person?" The mayor sensed something was wrong.

"Are you tired?" Yin Xiu asked with feigned concern when the mayor suddenly stopped.

He had no intention of continuing to run away. Instead, he stood still at the doorway, holding the knife, and looked at the mayor. "I'm tired. Let's end this."

For a moment, the town mayor couldn't keep up with his words. What did he mean by "end"? This meaningless pursuit?

In the moment he was distracted, Yin Xiu slashed over with a long knife, easily severing one of his arms, and then kicked him behind the town mayor.

The mayor's body tilted, and he was a little unsteady with one arm missing. He suddenly slapped out with his other hand, but Yin Xiu dodged it.

"It's no use! Even if your knife can cut off my limbs, I'll restore them right away!" The mayor sneered, suddenly turning around to try and retrieve his arm, but froze instantly when he turned back.

At some point, in the room he had attacked and rampaged through, the portraits that sealed the spirits inside were smashed to pieces, the glass shattered, and the spirits inside had long since escaped.

The portrait is space, the glass is a seal, and only the mayor can break the seal.

He was too excited and eager for Yin Xiu, blindly chasing after him and hitting him, completely unaware that he kept hitting the picture frame on the ground, breaking the glass and releasing his spirit.

At this moment, all the resentful spirits stared at the town mayor with ferocious expressions. The arm that Yin Xiu had cut off was kicked in front of the spirits and was devoured clean.

Now, the town mayor is nowhere to be found, not even a trace of him.

"You… deliberately let them out…" The mayor's pupils began to tremble uncontrollably.

"Yes." Yin Xiu replied lazily, "Besides the female ghost who can suppress you, there is also the sins you have committed yourself."

"I thought it would be a shame for such a big creature like you to die here. Why don't you feed it to them?"

Under the town mayor's terrified gaze, Yin Xiu raised the knife in his hand and smiled slightly, "How many pieces do you want to be cut into?"

"Ten yuan? Twenty yuan?"

"What? Fifty yuan? That's really kind of you, worrying that they won't have enough to eat."

He muttered to himself, brandishing his knife and charging forward with murderous intent. "Then I'll cut it into a hundred pieces as you wish, after all, I'm a kind-hearted person."
