Chapter 85 - Chapter 85 Killing Players Shouldn't Be Lazy

Zuo Meng was taken aback, and reluctantly withdrew her hand, not daring to take it under Yin Xiu's icy gaze.

I can't understand how a big shot like him, who has completed 58 levels of progress and is also a master of the Sin Gate, could be so easily intimidated by a newbie who hasn't even had his handcuffs removed, just by being glared at.

"Then... could you read it to me?" Zuo Meng lowered her demands tactfully, since it would be easy to break the rules if she acted recklessly on this level without any rules.

Yin Xiu glanced at Zuo Meng, then at the rule sheet in his hand, silently folded it up, put it in his pocket, and said indifferently, "Then what information will you exchange with me?"

Zuo Meng frowned. "We're part of a big organization now, are you really going to be so petty?"

"If you're not going to change, I'll be leaving now." Yin Xiu lifted his foot to walk past Zuo Meng and leave.

He quickly grabbed Yin Xiu and said earnestly, "Exchange! I have information to exchange."

Every piece of information within the instance is crucial; sometimes, the cost of not knowing a piece of information can be a life. Generally, players obtain information at great risk, and equivalent exchange is the foundation of player communication.

But only Ye Tianxuan would unconditionally provide information to others, although those who betrayed him also met a terrible end.

"Um... I remember writing down the rules of the Greed Layer with the organization before I came out. Do you think we can exchange them?" Zuo Meng asked cautiously. No matter how important the other layers were, they were not as important as the information of the layer she needed to pass through. If Yin Xiu was not willing, she would have to be even more careful to leave this layer.

Unbeknownst to her, Yin Xiu, who possessed the information, had taken the lead, and Zuo Meng no longer had any sense of dignity as a big shot.

"The Greed Layer... that's fine too." Yin Xiu nodded. Although he had been randomly thrown out of the Greed Layer, he might be refreshed back to it later.

"You tell me first, then I'll tell you."

Zuo Meng scratched her head, trying hard to recall the rules of the Greed Layer, and then read them aloud to Yin Xiu.

The two sides exchanged rules.

"The first and second rules of this lazy layer seem to conflict a bit?" Zuo Meng noticed the contradiction between the first and second rules as soon as she heard them.

"The first rule is that to enter the world of laziness, you must become lazy; the second rule is that to enter the world of laziness, you must not become lazy. So, should I become lazy or not?"

Yin Xiu also noticed the problem with this rule, but the answer was written immediately afterward.

1. To enter the world of laziness, one must become lazy and not disturb it.

Become lazy, and you won't disturb them, which means avoiding the monsters on this level.

2. Enter the world of laziness. Don't become lazy, or you'll sink into it.

Being too lazy and assimilating into these things will lead to your downfall here, perhaps due to the effects of pollution, resulting in this strange and eerie state.

Yin Xiu remembered that when he came down the stairs and met the stall owner, there were several players and monsters lying around. They were probably all players, and the ones that looked like monsters were probably players who had become monsters.

After sorting things out, Yin Xiu prepared to look at the room ahead. After learning about the white handcuffs, an idea immediately popped into his head: he wanted to experiment with it on the Lazy Layer.

While Zuo Meng was still scratching her head in thought, Yin Xiu had already boldly opened the first door in front of them, startling Zuo Meng so much that she shuddered. "You, you newbie, what are you doing rushing in front! It's dangerous, okay!"

He quickly stepped forward to pull Yin Xiu away, patting his chest confidently, "Although I don't know what you're planning, I have the power to intervene! I'll go first!"

"..." Yin Xiu nodded silently. He also wanted to see what Lazy could do, so he calmly took a step back.

Before entering, Zuo Meng mentally prepared herself, taking two deep breaths before looking at the seemingly idle Sin Gate beside her. She said earnestly, "Work hard! Follow me and kill them all! Our domination of the Sloth Layer is just around the corner!"

Lazy:...

Then he stepped into the room.

The moment he entered, the door slammed shut.

As the rules state, you should be quiet when walking through the hallway, but once you enter the room, it is your private area.

They can make a ruckus inside without affecting the outside in the slightest.

The monsters on the Sloth floor have no desire to attack proactively. Normally, it would be the easiest floor to pass through. Just walk straight through without entering any rooms.

Yin Xiu stroked his chin thoughtfully, but was it something that players who killed monsters should do if they didn't actively attack them?

That's not right. If a player who's supposed to kill a monster leaves without actually killing it, that's just lazy.

Yin Xiu felt that they should fight their way through before leaving!

Killing is permissible, but not outside. Being too impulsive would violate the first rule of becoming lazy and the fourth rule of being quiet when passing through the corridor.

Yin Xiu waited at the door for a while. The soundproofing in the house was very good, and there were no windows, so he couldn't see what was going on inside. He was looking forward to this big shot bringing his Sin Gate Killer out to show off to him.

But after standing there for a while without any sound from inside, he waved his left hand and said, "Come out and help me go in and check the situation."

An eye emerged from its left hand, followed by black slime oozing from its entire arm, dripping down to the ground. Then, it slowly crawled to the crack in the door and peered inside.

A sharp mouth soon appeared on the arm, babbling, "Trap, trap."

Yin Xiu stared at the mouth on his hand, as if Li Mo was speaking incoherently when he wasn't human.

"Understood." Yin Xiu touched his left hand as a reward.

Perhaps it's because I've gotten used to raising Ya Ya, I subconsciously feel that since something I'm raising has done something for me, I should pet it and reward it.

As soon as he touched it, black viscous liquid burst open on his left hand, like a spiky ball with tentacles dancing excitedly. Then it slowly retracted, tightly enveloping his hand. The liquid continued to flow on the surface of his skin, refusing to return to his hand.

Yin Xiu didn't quite understand Li Mo's thoughts, but for the sake of assuming he was happy, he walked to the door to get down to business.

As soon as the door opened, Yin Xiu saw a bunch of strange creatures lying in the room, with layers of dark shadows covering the floor. In the corner of the room, Zuo Meng was huddled up, trembling, surrounded by a layer of purple light. The strange creature lying in front of him was quiet and did not seem to be harming him.

"Why are you squatting in the corner?" Yin Xiu asked, stepping into the room.

The next second, the door behind them slammed shut, and with the sound of the door closing, the eerie creature in the room was instantly awakened.

They wriggled to their feet, radiating a low, resentful aura, baring their teeth and claws as if trying to teach a lesson to the person who had woken them. But the group of dark figures froze the moment they cast their sharp, malevolent gazes at Yin Xiu.

White handcuffs player?
