Chapter 108 - Chapter 108 You're slowing down my sword-drawing speed

He took a deep breath, trying to calm his body's instinctive reaction to fight the danger.

He kept telling himself over and over again that it was Li Mo who had tackled him, and that he couldn't kill him, couldn't kill him, couldn't kill him...

Inside the black coffin, tentacles like snakes coiled around his body, sliding and tightening along his limbs. Mucus soaked his prison uniform, bulging and moving beneath his clothes like blue veins.

Tentacles emerged from the collar, their eyes fixed on Yin Xiu, watching his slight trembling, his heavy breathing, and the last vestiges of his reason that were about to crumble under the sway.

"I tried my best to keep my teeth in place, did I bite you?" the mouth on the tentacle asked, revealing a dense array of sharp accessory teeth as it opened its mouth, its tongue slightly protruding and sweeping across Yin Xiu's cheek.

Yin Xiu frowned and bit the tentacle wrapped around his mouth.

Li Mo then slowly retracted one of his whiskers, allowing him to speak, "Sorry, I forgot."

Yin Xiu grinned, spitting out the black liquid that had been dripping from his tongue. This damp, sticky, and icy substance really didn't seem like something from the real world; it carried a scent of the deep sea.

"No, no... but..." he sighed slowly, "a mouth split open on my hand, it's really... strange..."

"I am helping you draw out your sins. Once your mind and body are corrupted, you will fall completely, just like Luo Leke, going mad at any moment." The tentacles slowly wrapped around his neck and whispered in his ear, "I don't want your consciousness to disappear, so don't be corrupted."

Yin Xiu slowly exhaled a breath of stale air, enduring and waiting for the effects of the pollution to disappear, waiting for himself to be completely freed from his unconsciousness.

"Your tentacles are so cold."

"Um."

"The handcuff chains made a loud noise."

"Um."

"The body temperature is still gradually decreasing..."

Li Mo covered his eyes and slowly lowered him into the coffin, closing the lid as he did so. "Close your eyes, just bear with it for a while and it will pass."

The coffin lid snapped shut, and the damp atmosphere in the dark environment made Yin Xiu feel as if he were trapped in a snake cage, with tentacles crawling all over his body. It was dark, damp, and cold, but it was just right to lower his body temperature.

The control of his left hand had not yet returned, attempting to devour the sins that had corrupted him, meticulously caressing and nibbling at him, as if throwing Yin Xiu onto the sea, letting him rise and fall with the waves.

His muddled mind gradually cleared up as he sank deeper into despair, the sound of handcuffs and chains ringing incessantly until Yin Xiu was tormented into a deep sleep.

"Three hours left!" In the church hall, Ye Tianxuan smoked a cigarette while staring at each player below. "No one is allowed to leave their position even half a step, and keep a distance of half a meter from the person next to them."

"No whispering or whining allowed, and no snickering!"

His reprimanding voice echoed throughout the hall, and everyone sat up straight, solemnly reciting the rules along with the crowd.

After reading the comments, I applauded with complete conviction.

"As expected of Boss Ye, he can keep the situation under control even in a situation like this."

"It's a good thing that Boss Ye is here. If it were me, I would have been corrupted by now and would have willingly fallen into depravity."

"Hey you guys, you're punished to recite the town rules ten times. Look at you, how are you going to survive without Boss Ye?"

"Oh, I was just saying."

"But where is Brother Xiu? I saw him in the corner of the church before. I don't know what happened between him and that player named Luo Leke. The screen went black for a long time and then he disappeared."

"Now if you turn the camera around, you'll see a coffin. I don't know if it's inside."

"Is it possible that Brother Xiu has been infected?"

"Impossible, right? How could Brother Xiu fall for this? He looks so plain and simple."

"Actually, I'd really like to see... Xiu-ge gets infected..."

"I want to see what's in front of me too!"

"Hehe... I'm Benta, I want to see..."

"I think you all want to die. Don't let his roommate catch you."

Ye Tianxuan also saw the interaction in the bullet comments. He was so focused on these useless players that he forgot about Yin Xiu.

He glanced up at the corner where Yin Xiu had been standing, silently flicked the cigarette swirling between his fingers, and asked with some concern, "Is everything alright?"

Turning his head again, he saw the barrage of comments continuing to go crazy. He coughed lightly and said, "Everyone who is posting messages in the barrage now, go and copy the town rules ten times. I'll check them when I get back."

The entire screen went blank instantly, and no one uttered a sound.

Half an hour later, Yin Xiu slowly woke up.

The first thing I felt when I opened my eyes was the intense pain in my left hand, as if it was about to fall off. I had regained control of my hand, but it was still worse than if I had lost all feeling in it.

My whole body felt sticky and limp, my prison uniform was soaked through with black liquid, and my body felt inexplicably weak, as if my body had been hollowed out.

"Li Mo?" Yin Xiu called out in a lazy voice, raised his hand to push aside the coffin lid above his head.

The dim light shone in, causing Yin Xiu to squint as he looked at the gray walls around him. He remembered being brought to the room on the Laziness Layer by Li Mo, where Li Mo had pressed him down in the coffin and cleansed him of his tainted sins.

"My hand is so sore...it's going to fall off..." Yin Xiu silently looked at his left hand, which had no eyes or mouth, but his wrist looked like it was about to be ruined.

He hadn't expected to be forcibly pressed unconscious by his left hand in the narrow, dark space.

Yin Xiu lowered his head and looked into the coffin again. Black tentacles were wrapped around him, and the eyes on them blinked and stared at him. They carefully pulled out a small stream of black liquid, and a mouth emerged to ask, "Are you... alright?"

Is it broken?

Yin Xiu's eyes darkened. "What do you mean?"

"Human spirits are so fragile. Seeing you faint scared me..." The small eyes floated around him for a moment, "Although I checked your body and everything is fine, I'm still a little scared..."

Yin Xiu sighed softly, "It's nothing, it's just... um... it was a bit too stimulating for me mentally..."

"But I feel much better now, my body feels lighter." He said, turning over out of the coffin and trying to get up and stretch. As soon as he touched the ground, his legs suddenly went weak.

He stared blankly at the tentacles that had coiled around him from behind, hooking around his waist and supporting him. "What happened to me?"

The tiny tentacles hooked him back into the coffin. "Sorry, I still don't understand the human body well enough. I've absorbed too much sin."

Yin Xiu was silently pulled back into the coffin, staring blankly at the ceiling. "I'm going to kill the warden later, and this will slow down my speed of drawing my sword."

"I'll kill it for you?"

"No need." Yin Xiu raised the white handcuffs on his wrist, which had completely turned from pale yellow. "I still have some things to ask him personally."

"Alright." The tentacles hooked around Yin Xiu's waist, carefully coiling around him and wrapping him in the coffin. "Let's rest for a while before we go."
