Chapter 122 - Chapter 122 Pay Attention to Class

"Brother Xiu... Brother Xiu, did you go to the wrong floor?"

"That shouldn't be the case. I saw Xiu-ge go down to the first floor and then enter Class A!"

"Are there different teaching buildings?"

"But the coordinates around here all match, so it must be the same teaching building, right?"

"Is the content of this instance separate for each player?"

"No, I've seen this instance before by chance. The players were together; they weren't separated."

"Indeed... apart from Boss Ye waiting for Brother Xiu alone in a classroom, the other players' screens show them meeting each other."

The comments section erupted with analysis, then fell even more silent afterward.

"Yin Xiu isn't with me?" Ye Tianxuan sat on his desk, looking at the confused comments on the screen. He started communicating with the comments, trying to find out what was going on with Yin Xiu.

Yin Xiu stared thoughtfully at the classroom filled with strange people, lost in confusion.

"Hello, are you here for class?" Upon seeing Yin Xiu appear at the door, a strange-looking person sitting in the back row immediately stepped forward with a smile to greet him.

She was also wearing a school uniform and was more human-like, but apart from the eyes on her face, her neck, arms, legs, and other parts of her body were covered with compound eyes, staring unblinkingly at Yin Xiu.

Yin Xiu stared at her silently, then looked into the room, where many strange figures dressed in school uniforms but twisted and inhuman filled the entire classroom.

At the very front, a slender, twisted figure stood on the platform. She was over two meters tall, incredibly thin, only half the width of Yin Xiu's body, soft and fluffy like cotton wool. Her head was pressed against the ceiling, her neck completely bent at a ninety-degree angle, her gaze fixed straight ahead, utterly terrifying at first glance.

That person stared intently at Yin Xiu, seemingly somewhat displeased.

The girl next to Yin Xiu, who had compound eyes, quickly tugged at him, "The bell is about to ring for class, sit down and start the lesson, or the teacher will get angry."

Yin Xiu stood at the door without moving, scanning the crowd to make sure he didn't see Ye Tianxuan. When the girl saw that Yin Xiu ignored her, she hurriedly returned to her seat.

After confirming that Ye Tianxuan was not in the classroom, Yin Xiu turned around and prepared to leave.

As soon as I turned around, a crisp and urgent bell suddenly rang throughout the school. All the students who were still outside rushed back to their classrooms, not daring to linger for even a moment.

Yin Xiu recalled the strange encounter he had in the stairwell, which seemed to be telling him to remember to enter the classroom before the bell rang.

The bell has rung, and the classroom is right behind him. As for whether or not to believe in the supernatural...

Yin Xiu pondered for a moment, then stood at the classroom door without leaving. However, he did not go to his seat. Instead, he stared intently into the distance at a strange student who was hurrying back from the playground downstairs.

There is no information about the school in the rules of the game, but the rules are for players to follow when they want to complete the game. He is both a player and a student here, so the school must also have a set of rules to govern its students, but he has not yet discovered them.

The student's casual remark to him earlier was very likely one of the school's rules, and he needed to confirm whether the strange creatures here truly meant him no harm, as the notice stated.

After the school bell rang, the entire school fell into silence.

Suddenly, a huge monster made of red flesh appeared on the school playground. It was made entirely of countless human tissues, a giant creature formed by human bodies with their skin and bones torn off and huddled together. Its trembling eyeballs were enormous, and it was spinning at the speed of light, searching for people who had not yet entered the classroom.

The strange student was still on his way to the teaching building when he was blocked by a huge red monster.

Yin Xiu stood at the classroom door and watched helplessly as a crimson maw suddenly split open on the red monster's body and bit down on the student. The huge size difference left the student powerless to resist, and he was instantly devoured.

The red monster chewed, making a clear sound of bones cracking, then spat out the school uniform and bones before turning around and continuing its patrol.

Yin Xiu stood at the door of Class A on the first floor, watching helplessly as the red monster finished eating the lone student and walked past the classroom while staring at him.

Yin Xiu was standing in the classroom, but only at the doorway, not outside the classroom, so he was considered inside the classroom and the monster did not attack him.

But after witnessing what had just happened, Yin Xiu could confirm that what the strange student had told him earlier was true. Entering the classroom before the bell rang was indeed one of the school's rules, and they had not deceived Yin Xiu.

So the eeriness of this school is actually friendly to him?

Yin Xiu turned around thoughtfully and looked at the classroom behind him.

Although the bell had rung, class had not started. All the strange students sat neatly in their seats, turning their heads to stare at him. Even the slender teacher on the podium was tilting his head and staring at him, his eyes still burning with anger.

"Hurry up and sit down," the girl with compound eyes next to him whispered, "Everyone's waiting for you."

Yin Xiu stood at the door, lost in thought.

He had never been to school or attended classes; he had only heard a little about school from others. Did everyone in school wait until the students were seated before starting the lesson?

Yin Xiu wasn't quite sure, but he didn't move, and neither did the rest of the classroom. Everyone was staring at him, eagerly hoping he would take his seat.

Anxious and troubled gazes, coupled with the teacher's displeased expression, gradually urged Yin Xiu to sit down.

After a moment of silence in the classroom, Yin Xiu calmly stood at the door and said, "Teacher, I can't bend my legs, so I'll teach standing up."

The slender teacher frowned, looking somewhat troubled by Yin Xiu's blatant nonsense.

"Is it not allowed?" Yin Xiu stood there straight without moving, his eyes lowered indifferently. "So, nobody feels any pity for me after all."

He seemed to have mentioned some key word, and all the students' faces instantly turned ugly, then they all turned to look at the teacher.

Under the silent gaze of the teacher, he slowly waved his hand at Yin Xiu, "Never mind, find a place to stand."

Seeing her reluctant reaction and the students' attitude, Yin Xiu felt that he had tested her again. The notice mentioned that the students of this school would be tolerant of you, which was also true.

He calmly stood at the table closest to the back door of the classroom, making him the most conspicuous person in the entire classroom.

There was an open book on the table, with words he couldn't understand. He didn't look at it closely, but instead turned to look around the classroom and noticed a board nailed to the wall. Judging from the format, it seemed to record some rules.

They were arranged in an orderly fashion, but Yin Xiu couldn't understand them.

Are school rules only understandable to these strange students?
