Chapter 135 - Chapter 135 Look closely at me, watch me intently

"Humans! They have two eyes!" Li Mo repeated it again seriously, afraid that Yin Xiu would become more and more abnormal, and repeatedly instructed: "Two eyes, one nose, and one mouth."

"Is that so? Then my current appearance is not right?" Yin Xiu was unaware that his perception had changed.

After touching his face, he still chose to trust Li Mo, took out a candy from his pocket, and ate one.

"But... if my current appearance is wrong, then what should I have originally looked like?" As Yin Xiu's understanding became confused and changed, his face began to change.

"Which eye of mine is extra? This one?" Yin Xiu pointed to his right eye, which then vanished in a flash.

Comments: ?! Holy crap!

"No," Li Mo replied honestly, "it's the eye on my left cheek."

"This way?" He pointed to the eye above his left cheek, and then the left eye disappeared in a flash.

Comments: Ugh, I can't take it! I feel like my eyes have been polluted. How can anyone look like this?!

"No, no, it's the eye on the left cheek." The tentacle instructed earnestly, then slapped the extra eye onto Yin Xiu's face with a sticky smack. "It's this one, this one disappears."

"So this is it..." Yin Xiu was already a little confused. "I feel like I look really strange right now... Do I only have two eyes? It seems weird by human standards, doesn't it?"

Yin Xiu's face had returned to normal, but he had a misunderstanding and had begun to find it strange that a human with two eyes was like that.

"I don't know what I look like right now. I want to look in the mirror." Yin Xiu didn't get up; he was just saying it, but the tentacles immediately tightened around him.

"You can't look in the mirror! You can't!"

"I know…" Yin Xiu raised his hand and touched his face again, carefully covering most of his face with both hands. "It still feels a bit off… Do I look particularly strange now?"

It seems that Yin Xiu perceives himself as very unlike a human, his distorted appearance resembling a monster, and he feels somewhat lost.

The tentacles danced in the air, displaying the eyes on their bodies. "I'm stranger than you."

"Yes." Yin Xiu slowly lowered his hand from his face. "We all look like monsters now."

"I am a monster, you are not." The tentacles wrapped around Yin Xiu's hand, the tips hooking his fingers and entwining them as if holding hands. "My body in another space will be coming to this classroom soon, and I will soon show you what a human should look like."

With a reference case here, Yin Xiu can always know what a real human should look like, so that he won't be completely clueless about what he should look like after recovery.

"I never imagined that one day I would have to learn what it means to be human from you." Yin Xiu remembered that when he first met Li Mo, he didn't even know what a human mouth looked like, but later he inexplicably learned to simulate it.

Having Li Mo around might be more reliable than having someone else around.

People may be influenced and give Yin Xiu the wrong reference, but Li Mo will not change.

He listened to the anxious knocking at the classroom door and felt the gaze from the window behind him. He felt extremely uncomfortable in the pitch-black classroom, but he had to stay overnight to find out if he could go to another space through the teaching building.

Yin Xiu hugged the tentacles wrapped around his arm and closed his eyes slightly. "Looks like I won't be able to sleep again tonight."

Tentacles extended out from the cuffs, entwining around Yin Xiu, their little mouths murmuring, "I'll be there soon, I'll let you sleep well."

"Hmm." Yin Xiu responded softly, pressing his cheek against the cool tentacles.

The small black tentacles trembled, and the eyes on them stared intently at Yin Xiu, not blinking.

A few minutes later, a chill descended upon the corridor on this floor.

In the pitch-black night, Li Mo slowly stepped into the corridor of the teaching building. The moment he entered the building, he saw the students crowding the corridor.

They become even more twisted and terrifying at night, completely devoid of any human-like appearance.

They all piled up in front of the classroom where Yin Xiu was, banging on the door incessantly, trying to force their way in.

The moment Li Mo appeared, they stopped and turned to look at him.

Those eyes glowed red in the night, exactly like the huge red eyes outside the window.

"You seem to share a similar aura with me, but I don't recall having any of my kind here," Li Mo said, a smile playing on his lips as he gazed at the students before him. "What exactly are you?"

The students did not respond to him, but stared at Li Mo with wary expressions.

Seeing that it didn't respond, Li Mo took a step forward, and the next second, the students closed their eyes.

When they opened their eyes again, the red light in their eyes disappeared, and they became ordinary human eyes.

The students looked at each other in confusion.

"Strange, how did I end up in the teaching building?"

"I remember sleeping in the dorm?"

"Oh, I need to hurry back to the dorm, or I'll be eaten by the security guards."

The strange students hurriedly walked out, ignoring Li Mo as they left.

Li Mo looked back at the group of students and clearly sensed that their presence had vanished.

"Don't let me catch you next time." Li Mo turned around and walked towards the classroom where Yin Xiu was.

He knocked on the door and said softly, "It's me, open the door."

Inside, Yin Xiu looked up and stared warily at the door. "Li Mo, there's another one imitating you outside. Go and eat him."

The tiny tentacles swayed in confusion, thinking, "That's me! You can't eat me."

"This time it's for real." Yin Xiu paused for a moment, almost unable to distinguish the sounds that came from outside the door every day.

He quickly got up, walked to the classroom door, and moved the stacked desks and chairs before opening the door.

It was indeed Li Mo standing outside the door, a strange smile curving his face in the night, more terrifying than any monster. There was no one else but Li Mo.

But Yin Xiu was stunned when he opened the door, and then frowned and stared intently at Li Mo's face.

"What's wrong?" Li Mo stepped forward, reached out and put his hand on Yin Xiu's arm, pulling that small part back into his body.

Yin Xiu closed his eyes and sighed, "My perception has been altered; for a moment, I didn't recognize you."

Li Mo silently pursed her lips, turned around and closed the classroom door behind her.

Yin Xiu watched him lock the door and turn to approach him, feeling somewhat wary.

"What are you doing?" He took a step back and leaned against the desk.

Li Mo smiled with narrowed eyes, reached out and trapped Yin Xiu between him and the desk, and said in a low voice, "Since you have misunderstood me, then take a good look at me until you remember what I look like."

He earnestly brought his face close to Yin Xiu's, nose to nose, their breaths mingling.

Yin Xiu stared at him silently. "But you don't need to get this close, do you?"
